If you enjoyed this glitch, you can also try it out in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as well. Here's my tutorial for SM2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B-_cW6hmm0s.html __________________________________________________ Questions & Answers⬇: Q: Does this Glitch work on PS4 and PS5? A: Yes. But the PS4 may have issues with the Glitch. I tested it on the PS4 version, but I was playing the PS4 version on the PS5 console. So I'll have to leave that up to you guys to see if there's any additional bugs with it on PS4. I've only come across one small bug, which is the one I mention in the video. Q: Does the Glitch Suit stay on permanently? A: Yes. The Color/Pattern of the suit will change randomly as you travers (Like I explained in the video). But the glitch itself stays on until you take it off manually by either changing regular suits, toggling the Contrast off, entering a cutscene that changes your suit during the cutscene, or by quitting the game. Q: Can the Glitch be used at any point? A: The Glitch can be turned on as long as you're able to use Miles' cloaking ability and Toggle the Contrast using the Shortcut Button. Q: Is it possible to stop the suit from changing randomly on it's own? A: No. Unfortunately there's no way to prevent the suit from changing on its own. I did however find ways to keep one particular color/pattern on for longer by replaying certain Story Missions. The "Time To Rally" & "Tinker Tailor Spider Spy" missions allow you to keep one particular suit color on for the entire mission. I found that the suit won't change as frequently during those missions. Q: Does the Glitch work during Cutscenes? A: Yes. It works on every cutscene in the game except for the ones that swap Miles suit during the cutscene (For example, when Miles gets his gifted Suit from Peter Parker near the beginning of the game). Q: Does the Glitch work with every suit in the game? A: Yes. It works with every suit in the game, including all the other Glitched suits (For example, the Spoder-Man and Battle Damaged suits). Q: Can you determine what color(s) the suit will change into based on where you are on the map? A: Yes. It will take things from the environment that are in close proximity and apply them to the suit. So in a way you can sorta of determine what colors/patterns you'd like on the suit, based on your location (For example, being near a Basketball Court will give you a better chance of having a Basketball colored suit). Q: Will this Glitch break my game? A: No. I haven't come across any game breaking issues with this Glitch. I've used it many times on multiple versions/patches of the game. You should be fine. Q: Does this Glitch work on every version/patch of the game? A: Yes. As long as you have the option to map the Toggle Contrast on your Shortcut Button, you'll be able to do it. __________________________________________________ Time Stamps: Suit Glitch Tutorial: 0:00 Spider-Cat Glitch: 3:29 Miles Civilian Clothes Glitch Prt 1: 4:23 Miles Civilian Clothes Glitch Prt 2: 6:21 How To Go Completely Invisible Glitch: 7:25 Outro: 8:04 __________________________________________________ For all my Miles Morales glitches, funny moments, and glitch tutorials that I've made, check out my playlist here: ru-vid.com/group/PL-CvjdJSMmhhu6_RKVzRAv7JZmjVJFCYD For all Miles Morales glitch tutorials that I've made, check out my playlist here: ru-vid.com/group/PL-CvjdJSMmhgz2lyMOVzASp9JprI9xmfZ To see every glitched Spiderman suit in the game, check out my playlist here: ru-vid.com/group/PL-CvjdJSMmhjPEMvJBIIjZVNwfx74U1PU To see more videos like this, feel free to Subscribe and click the bell notifications to be notified when a new video is uploaded. @@scribblythescribble I've never updated my game. So I can still do all the patched glitches. Even if your console is connected to Internet, there's an option to not allow automatic updates for your games. So I never have to worry about patched glitches.
I tried it and it worked! Thank you papatreece. Theres some sweet looking suits and some funny ones too 🤣 Had one where miles looked like an npc but with bad graphics.
Great tutorial! I used the suit glitch in a video I posted to TikTok, thank you for showing me how to do this! It’s a lot of fun. I put your link on the video to send some more people over here. Looking forward to your future vids!
I was playing new game plus and i bought the spider training suit but the clothes were neon red instead of how they normally look but it only happened when i first equipped it
When you go completely invisible with this glitch can enemies still detect you also is there anyway to detect your self while doing this glitch also I loved the video.
Glad you enjoyed the video, StraightKermit! So when you go invisible with this glitch, enemies can still detect you. It's only a cosmetic effect and serves no gameplay functionalities. To detect yourself while you're invisible you can try clicking the right analog (R3) to scan, which may make you temporarily visible. Miles will typically be in the center of the screen at all times or off to the left a bit whenever you aim and shoot webs for example. Hope that helps!
It doesn’t work for miles but whenever I see a villain with the toggle on it works for the villain but not me Edit: I just reloaded the game and it is working
This is the full tutorial. The glitch works by pulling elements from the environment and adding it to the suit. It works randomly, so it's not something you can select yourself. You can have a better chance of getting for example a basketball suit by using the glitch near a basketball course... but there's not guarantee that it will add the basketball texture to your suit. Hope that makes sense. If there was a way to choose which suit/texture you get, then I would have included that in this tutorial.
The best thing you can do is use the glitch around textures that you would like to have added to your suit. The issue is that the glitch has hundreds of options to choose from at any given time, due to the mass amount of textures/objects in your surroundings. Use the glitch for long enough and you'll come across a lot of different variations. Try going to different locations across the map and see what you get.
Sorry you couldn't get it to work. The glitch isn't patched, so I'm wondering what the issue might be. Out of curiosity, have you ever updated your game, or are you still on Version 1.0? It might be that you have to update your game for certain options/functions to be present. Now if you have updated your game, I'm not sure what the issue might be without having seen your gameplay. The glitch still works to this day and there hasn't been an update for this game in about a year or more. At this point, Insomniac is long done updating/patching the game, so the glitch is thankfully here to stay. Now I do have a Q&A comment pinned at the top that may help answer your issue(s), so I recommend checking that out. Hopefully you can get it working. Let me know if you do or if you have any questions/concerns.
Same here! I couldn't believe that the glitch did this when I first came across it. Mine looked like this.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UePMHty0a8E.html
There's a lot of weird ones that I've come across. Anything from becoming lights, to flags, web, electricity, and deformed abominations. I've shared a bunch of them on my channel. A lot of the videos I unlisted though because they didn't get many views... But if you wanna check out the ones I've uploaded, this is my Playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PL-CvjdJSMmhjPEMvJBIIjZVNwfx74U1PU There's still a lot that I haven't shared yet. I may get around to uploading all them when I have the time.
Nice! I've had that happen too. It tends to do that every now and then... Just be warned, it doesn't act the same way as the Camo ability, so enemies will still see you. I had to test it and find out the hard way lol. Hope you enjoy the glitch!
Yup! You will need to be playing on Playthrough 2/New Game Plus though (Since you need to be able to cloak in order to do the glitch). You don't get the cloak ability until later on in the story. But on Playthrough 2/New Game Plus, the game lets you keep all your abilities and gadgets that you obtained through your first playthrough.
If you're on version 1.0 and it doesn't give you the option to toggle contrast or map buttons, then you may have to update your game. I'm on the latest version and it definitely still works after updates. You could always try toggeling the contrast manually by pausing and doing it throught the options instead of mapping it, and see if that works.
What part of the tutorial are you having trouble with, specifically? This glitch isn't patched and works on every version of the game. My pinned comment Q&A might answer some questions you have as well. I'll help as best I can.
With whatever Shortcut Button you mapped it to (Either the Left or Right D-Pad Button). In order to do the glitch, you will need to map the Contrast Options to one of the Shortcut Buttons. Once the Contrast Options is mapped to one of the Shortcuts, press Left or Right on the D-Pad to turn it off. Pressing Left or Right on the D-Pad again will turn it back on. Or are you trying to turn the Glitch off completely?
Do you mean going invisible? First you need to be damaged by an enemy (you can't be at full health). Then activate the glitch. When you activate the glitch, Miles' suit will turn completely White. While it's White, press Down on the D-Pad to heal yourself. You'll of course need a portion of your venom power bar filled in order to heal, so keep that in mind. With all that being said. I have been able to turn completely invisible randomly as well just by swinging around with the glitch activated. In case the healing method doesn't work for you. Hope that helps.
Contrast is used to emphasize differences in appearance. The Contrast options in this game can change character models to appear as solid colors based on whichever color you choose in the contrast options menu. When you equip that as your quick select button (D-Pad), it'll allow you to toggle the contrast on and off whenever you want during gameplay. You can make it permanent in the options menu too if you so choose. But for this glitch to work, it has to be activated manually, via the quick select button (Left or Right D-Pad Buttons).
The glitch works on every version of the game (PS4, PS5, and PC), and isn't patched. What part of the glitch are you having difficulty with? Which steps were you able to do? Are you by any chance playing a mission that doesn't allow you to cloak which is necessary for this glitch? The more I know, the better I can help you out. I've tested the glitch on all versions, patched and unpatched to confirm it still works.
Throughout my video I also explain how changing your regular suit during the glitch can stop it from working, and show how to fix that issue. If that's the issue, try restarting from the last checkpoint or quit game and load back in again and retry.
That's just how the glitch works. I wish the textures would stay, but they don't unfortunately. I did find two ways to keep one texture on for a longer period of time, and that's by re-playing two specific story missions. I explain that in the video.
Oh ok, yeah I know about iVoltex. I happened to see their video back when they first uploaded it. One of my Subs told me about it a few months back. That video is totally fine though. In the video he gives me proper credit as the finder of this glitch and tells people to go Sub to me. He also included a link to my channel in the video description. That I'm ok with, since it's proper credit. So he's good, no worries there ;) Appreciate you giving me a heads up about it though! But yeah, if there's any more videos / channels that you come across, feel free to give me a shout. I really appreciate the help. Thanks again, Tamtam!
The glitch isn't patched and works on every version of the game. So it should work just fine. Someone in the comments mentioned that changing your console settings to English fixed the issue for them. Not sure why that would make a difference at all, but maybe that's the issue on your end? Is there a specific part of the glitch that you guys can't do? Like are you unable to add a Shortcut Button? How far in the tutorial do you make it until you start having issues? The more info I have, the better I'll be able to help and understand what's happening on your end.
@@holyv1nce464 Ok, I see. So what might be happening is what I explain in the video at 2:41. If you swap regular suits while using the glitch, it will stop the Shortcut Button from working. So all you have to do in that case is Pause and restart from the last checkpoint. That's what I'm guessing is happening if you got it working once and then it stopped. The other reason it might not work is if you're playing a part of the game (story mode/mission) where Miles isn't able to cloak (go invisible)- which is what you need in order to do the glitch. So if you were able to at least turn the suit White, then it should work just fine. It would be much easier for me to determine what's happening if I saw a video of it, but hopefully that helps. Lemme know if it does or not.
This glitch works on every version of the game and hasn't been patched. I've recorded clips of me doing this glitch on the PS4, which is what I played on when the game launched (I got the PS5 a few months after). The glitch still works because I just did it a couple days ago and I'm currently on the latest patch/update. What part of the tutorial are you having trouble with specifically? I'll do my best to help.
@@Papatreece it worked when I went to suits and resumed the game and it worked but the white is way to bright once it stopped being bright then it changed to gray and I couldn’t get it back to white. But thank you for the help
It should be there once you pause the game and go to settings. Once you're in the Settings menu there will be a Shortcut 1 and Shortcut 2 option at the bottom of the list. Press X on either of them and then select the "Toggle Contrast Option". If the Shortcut option isn't showing up for you, then I'm not sure what's happening on your end. It should be there on any version of the game. The only thing I can think of is that you might be playing the game but in a different language perhaps? If that's the case, the option should still be there, but it may be called something else. Not sure what else could be the issue because I've always had the option there since the game's launch and after all the latest patches/updates.
It's possible that one of the suit textures couldn't load in properly causing it to crash. I've never had an issue of the game crashing on PS5 or PS4. However when I play the PS4 version, I do play it on my PS5. So maybe it has something to do with the console (PS4) just not loading certain textures. I'd say keep note of which suit(s) are causing it to crash, and then if you ever get them again, simply deactivate the glitch before it crashes. I've done this glitch thousands of times and not once has it crashed. So it's hard for me to determine exactly what's going on on your end unless I see it. The glitch isnt patched either and even works on version 1.0. Hope it was just a one time thing for you. The glitch is a lot of fun to do so I hope you can get it working. Lemme know if you do!
