@@firstjosh1984 The actual numbers are not the point. Overwatch is way to complex to determine those numbers exactly, unless you put like a PhD level effort into it. Thus, the numbers are just asspulls to deliver a general concept, and very different numbers have been thrown around regarding this topic.
Not in the way you think😭. Your team can hold you back certain games, but the main reason to get a duo is the synergy. Not really your teams fault if you're low elo. Back in like 2017 I got a duo partner from my school, and we both got placed in bronze and 2 seasons later we were both low to mid gold. We didn't get much better (we didn't study the game), but we knew how to play with each other well
just watched this vid after getting off with my irl duo buddy. we lost 3 games in a row after we both had top lobby dps dmg, and elims, and least team deaths
@@Saotic this is so real ive been playing with a friend recently in high gold low plat and we consistently get top damage or even out dpsing with bap while also having most heals but it doesnt even matter some nights
Or your just bad I just started playing overwatch 2 played through the first season and still playing now I'm currently plat 2 and just playing by myself no team
I actually had a ranked game where we steamrolled the enemy team so we decided to stay as a group. We played a few more games and won before 2 of them left. Later we picked up 2 supports who were also good and they stuck with us. We won about 15-20 games in a row, and then had 1 draw afterward, and lastly a loss. After that time everyone had things to do so that was it. We started in silver 5 and went up to Gold 4 together. They weren’t too crazy or anything, but they used mics. If you’re comfortable, just talk with your team because it definitely helps.
Those are the best matches qhere we all know we did our part and go at it again. One of my best was a team we had, all randoms, but we all talked and were chill. He lost the match, one of them said like wenlost but we did good, I was like, we actually did good they just did better, wanna try again? We all stayed and we won the next couple of games People came and went, some losses but lostly wins, was pretty cool, especialmente when the new guy came in and he was like cool yall won so you stick together, and we were like no, we actually lost but are kinda stubborn jajaja
If you are just heal betting as ana it will be very difficult to climb you wanna make sure that you also play offensively with your sleep and nade to help get picks for your team
Cause you don’t know how to play support. You are not a healer you are a support who can heal. Kill people from time to time. Sleep tanks and ulters. Don’t sit there healing all match
its because you are your teams bitch when they told you to heal you do it but supports arent just healers balance dps and healing stop thinking supports only heal because in ranks like yours your teammates dont peel for you so as supports we have to be self sufficient
As someone who climbed to plat 4 recently, I find this guide pretty spot on. The most OP thing in low elo is the most basic teamwork. And it can be momentary stuff like coordinating a Zarya+Hanzo ult or calling out low enemies. If you have a mic, make an effort to communicate. You may get disappointed some games with silent/oblivious teammates but there are tons of people who WILL listen. Then, when I got good mechanics base on a few DPS heroes I just kept climbing after originally placing in Bronze. And tbh most of it is very basic, like not blowing your escapes to all in or flank the enemy. Heroes like Reaper/Genji, just reset, get healed, and go in again
Even without talking, game sense and enabling is key. Had a game, I was sombra and I had a mercy, everytime I hacked someone she would fly to me and boost me, she saw I was doing the most dmg so she tried to enable me, and since I knew she was there I used my tp to move around the enemies more and not out of the fight for a health pack, so we could both be mobile, her just flying in and out boosting and patching me was enough combo. Since the rest of the team was decent we we all good for the match. Or the zen Who sees Who are you hacking and targeting and discords them for you, *chefs kiss* on a silver platter. That was the whole strat last game, we were getting rolled and our moira switch to zen I Just asked her call the orbs out or right asked her Who to orb I was able to melt them 1 by 1. As a main support enabling since to be the best option, even a stupid play can become a good play. Los of text but im invested and wanna give another example. I was kiriko, and our junker Queen over extended, he actually calles it out and told me dont come I foked up let me die, I was like nah b, if we both commit right know we might actually get a play, he chased the kill but then 2 other came at him, he was almost at spawn, he got it and I actually told him "a stupid play can is a good play if you succed" Disclaimer YOU DO HAVE TO KNOW WHEN TO LET SOMEONE DIE.
@@lexielavinge same here, gold 4 winning way more than i’m losing and rank still not moving, getting matched with low silvers is just pain. not being able to see the right stats in career profile to keep track is the cherry on top
OW2 definitely counts more than just wins and losses. I won 7 out of 10 on Dps and i stayed gold 3. Then on support I won 7 out of about 15 and went from gold 2 to Plat 5. With 5 more losses I climbed pretty well on support compared to deeps
My experience with the ratio is it's much closer to 33/33/33. Been playing since season 2 of OW1 and usually a third of games feel unwinnable due to smurfs/throwers/leavers/teammates but then you get the same third that go in your favour. It's the last third that are fun, close games that can go either way.
no literally my first ranking was silver 3 then i played with my friend with no rank 5-3 and i went up to silver 2 and she went up to plat and we're both supports and i have the same healing but more kills and damage less deaths💀
Hitting small targets in OW is mainly difficult because there is 0 movement accel or decel. Even in Quake if you strafe left right, it won't be instantly. It is here. So certain characters will have wildly swinging hitboxes instantly the second you change position. That's what catches a *lot* of people off guard, even those with plenty of general FPS experience. Most games will have a very short ''stop'' when doing ADADADAD, but in Overwatch you literally instantly move in the other direction.
@@bostinobaddog2040 we all were at some point. Learning how to lead shots is a game changer thar comes with experience and focused effort on improvement (like everything). You got this!
A movement guide video would be a great help 👍. Watching your videos bring me back to when I was climbing in valorant and watched your videos for tips, peaked immortal 2 😄started silver. Now i've started playing overwatch and its a struggle to learn all the new things i don't know about. Definitely need help with movement tho.
@@team-player thank you teamplayer i am 45 years old and previously because my dad was a baker he had not taught me how to walk (only how to loaf). Now i have taken my first steps and i cant believe how easy it is.
That means you’re not good at the game, and your 40% is losses that are your fault, rather than wins. And also that you’re so bad at the game that you’re brutally dragging your team down in the free win games
This game really made me have an emotional breakdown. I got matched with masters in my last game and previous ones with mainly plat-diamond… I’m just bronze. I cried. I don’t FULLY blame the game, in my case: my pc often cannot keep up with this game, i always always always experience terrible lags, fps drops and my screen freezing. So, it’s also a practical problem.
Same here, I’m a doom main at Silver 2, got rolled 3 matches in a row by diamonds with super meta teams (Orisa, Pocketed Sojourn etc) And almost bashed my skull in. I literally had to lie down and have a nap. I love this game and I’ve had some great times with it, but I’m losing the will to keep playing now.
I think one of the worst things anyone can do in any competitive environment, not even just video games and sports, but even like, business, is to immediately default to blaming external forces for your failure. I feel like one big difference between a pro player or anyone who actually has potential to climb, and those who belong in the lower ranks is someone who deserves to climb looks at each death and loss through the lens of 'Okay, what did I do wrong there?' And actually takes an objective, analytical approach to their own gameplay first, then evaluates external factors second. While those who belong in those lower ranks immediately default to 'it's my team's fault', 'there's always smurfs', 'I deserve Diamond'
no i totally agree, comparing urself to worse (and better players) can be demoralising and you often tend to focus on ur team / enemies rather than ur own gameplay which is a pretty pointless mindset if ur trying to improve urself, ur own rank and ur own gameplay
Well that’s easy to say when you are up there and don’t have to deal with all the bs comes from being low. Like a rich guy telling a poor person why he is not rich even though he has gotten robbed for all he had and doesn’t have nothing while the rich person had all the luck and possibilities in the world. Now you come on here and say it’s my fault? F u
the last 3 days i have been stuck with teams that have 0 team work, blasting music in their mics, not switching to counter, team mates who are leavers right from the get go, throwers, rage quitters and people who doesnt even know what they are suppose to do, like they went to competitive to LEARN the game. i'm feeling absolutely frustrated and i don't know how i am going to leave B5 hell with this kind of trash
Tbh a point you didnt mention is toxicity. I come from Valorant (which i also wasnt very good at) and i always felt like low elo players are just so toxic other than high elo's. Maybe thats because they're low rank but that doesnt make anything better. They get so mad if you get some kills as a support and pocket them. And its so unmotivating and makes the game not fun for everyone
I'm diamond/masters and this video still helped me. The last point especially about the ego. It's something I've struggled with for a long time and didn't realize till now.
Bruh. Just tell people to go for squishies. Everyone in low elo has bad aim. So they go for tanks to compensate. Then their aim NEVER improves nor do bad habits. I can not believe content creators don’t preach this more often. I’ve seen so many people run from Mei and attack a pocketed Zarya charged and all just because the fear of mei freezing you. It’s insane to me that this advice isn’t preached more… I genuinely rose from silver to masters once I figured this out and practiced.
This is actually so true, I didn’t play ranked in ow1 at all, so didn’t bother to learn to be actually good at the game. But now I’m getting into ranked and it’s like I’m the only one who knows that tanks aren’t going to stop being healed unless the support is completely displaced or killed. Nobody in silver and bronze targets the people i put in, what should be, unsurvivable situations and just rush down main. I only play ball
Team up with players that are at average or better for the rank you're in, and stay with them even if you lose the next match. The consistency of having even just average teammates (if you are above average) will give you an advantage over getting randoms in your team.
It's so weird, i'm platinum 4 rn and they're a lot of leavers. And a lot of smurfs it's insane. I get matched with diamond/master players which is really annoying because i automatically lose those matches :(
Im def stuck in elo hell rn, I can't make it out of bronze with the amount of throwers, leavers and plain out people that just dont pull their weight. I'm not saying im a perfect dps player, and Im not always doing numbers, but for the most part im doing my job in the game but ultimately get held back by something out of my control
If you are pulling your weight in bronze, then you are a bronze player. A diamond player will win 4v5s sometimes, throwers, and hard carry almost every single fight (if they even let the team regroup and don’t snowball tilt/ and spawn camp them). Quit thinking pulling your weight will make you climb. Have to hard carry shitters
Yeah if your mindset is like this. You will be stuck in elo hell. For sure. If you dont start to think about YOUR mistakes AND YOUR plays. Then there is no way out. If you wanna climb, you HAVE to carry. And if you tell me you are the carry, but you dont climb, then thats defenitly a lie.
With this current matchmaking system, yeah.. No.. Other than the obvious take your time, learn the game, progressively fix your mistake and get better, I just currently blame the horrible matchmaking. Might be different in High elo, but Plat and below is absolutely ridiculous rn.
i have a new account so i need to win 50 gams in quick play and Im up against smurfs all the time because the have gold weapons and if you have gold weapons you have play competitive so it’s kind weird
My tip as someone that climbed from Bronze 3 to Platinum 5 during Season 1 in Overwatch 2: Turn off voice chat and focus on what your team is doing, not what your team is saying. They don't know what to do in the game anyways, you need to be the force that pushes your team to success if you want to climb, otherwise, you're just letting yourself be carried through games and when you don't have anyone to carry you on your team, you're lost and you see that dreaded "Defeat" screen. Try to always think about your positioning and what you can do in that situation to turn the fight to your team's advantage. Use your abilities to enable your teammates in the fight. And if you encounter a smurf, believe in your own ability to handle that player, cause if you can't, you're stuck in that rank for a reason.
I can confirm turning off VC and team chat is the best way to climb in low elo xD I'm also in high plat now, looking to jump to diamond. People in lower ranks are not comfortable with support going for kills
@Iv3y_Lamar they didn't say it was the players fault, if you see a smurf and instantly go into a mindset that you're gonna lose then don't wonder why you never improve when you shrivel to difficulties
thats a load of bull, support main i heal a bunch, dodging ganks, disc reaper ults, suzu dva bombs, shoot at tires, barrier the sigma ult, kill tor turret before it builds, ping the sym turrets, have more kills than deaths and have thousands of dmg if there is a sombra i instatntly swap to brig bc there wont be anyone peeling for me if there is a pharah i swap to baptiste cos there wont be anyone shooting at her im a gamer for more than 15 years, played a bunch of games, in 100 hours when i was feeding i was b5, now i get 3 endorsement, last time i won 6 out of 7 and still b5 this is some blizzard bullshit again, 100% success rate my eye what a clickbait
I’m currently playing Moira she seems op as a hybrid healer/dps. Ranked feels like wonky 1 game my team will roll people next game the opposition will roll us
That's largely because people are bad at regrouping which feels even worse in 5v5 imo. Some games my team never regroups and we get rolled, sometimes the enemy never regroups and gets rolled. Almost always has to do with teamwork in my experience.
@@dogs-game-too I think I can attest to quite a few bronze players as to a big factor why we lose is actually bad aim. And because of that we don't feel comfortable at taking picks and a skilled enemy see's that and can exploit it.
@@neoconker2k8 Hey if you have bad aim but don't try to 1v5 the other team you're already better imo than my overly-confident gold/plat teammates lol. My issue is my game sense far outweighs my aim lol

I just finished several games in a row as support with dps who can't even break above 10 elims regardless of how much healing I pump into them. Your 20/20/40 nonsense is exactly that, and it's something made up by people who live in the gm bubble.
IMO this is the single biggest reason that average players get stuck in ELO Hell. Everyone wants to play like it's Call of Duty and just respawn and rush in. I will ask teammates to group up for a push and literally get told "no" and then that same person bitches when we lose. It would be one thing if it happened like every once in a while but it's every single match. No one cares about staggering respawns or team fights it's just "I'm so much better, I can definitely 1v5 while my team is respawning"
one of the best scenarios to aim train is definitely 1w6targets small/extra small, or ones that literally like 4 pixels, sure this is kovaak but aimlab works too. This will carry over into any game you play regardless if its tracking based or not. It teaches you how to be precise, then be precise with speed. Aim training later on is not needed since there isnt as much return
coming from Apex Legends since season 0, I was use to movement, aiming, and crazy recoil patterns. Jumping in to Overwatch, It is harder for me to aim on here while trying to move around. I love it.
its hard to really say what the range for elo hell is, but if you ever wish to see it, I know low to mid bronze is impossible to climb out of, or was in ow1. I would drop 50 kill games and still lose, elo hell is hell for a reason
What's worse is when you and your team all have over 30 elims, DPS has best dage numbers, support is working overtime, and the tank is playing like they are playing in Grand Championship for the OWL and the other two is just average and not anywhere close and we still somehow lose
Ngl. Kijugo is killing it with these anime OP and EDs. Sometimes I end up on your videos on AutoPlay and just vibe with the music while I'm half listening at work. Keep him. Also good info from you too.
I have experience playing FPS games and played OW1 on console before, now on OW2 i got platinum 3 realy fast (just went from gold 3 to plat 3 today) but i fell the games getting harder already. I feel like my biggest mistake is positioning and communication… i gotta work on it
i think ranking up is easy in ow2, I started in silver 3 and got to plat 3 in 3-4 days with my duo. The 20-20-40 thing feels soo real too lmao. I think learning what to target is important and what a team flow can do.
@@bman0 honestly getting a dedicated team is difficult but if possible it’s something you should shoot for. I got placed gold 3 and with my full stack team I made it to diamond 4 in a week. Currently omw to masters
And remember kids: if you dn't feel like talking, your mic's not working, you only want to type when dead (of course) --- at least ping. Bind it. Learn it. Use it. Pinging that sneaky reaper who has ult who's flanking will win you games. E-ve-ry time. People will pick up on it eventually if you do it.
As Ana when i don't talk i spam the ping button on slept enemies and eventually at least one person will turn around to help. It'll say in chat "sleeping _____ here"
At some point you will get stuck anyway it is impossible that everyone is gm or isnt it ? Same with dia or masters It is mich more about playing wiith your friends and or having a good time without loosing the competitive soul
How come you left gameleap? I know you were doing halo videos for them (unfortunately that game is all but dead), but they replaced you on the overwatch content
im happy with my progress, unlocked comp on friday just made silver today and im new to OW, lets see how it goes, i notice if my tank is not great the team struggles, i play dps mcree and torbjorn is workin for me
Can anyone learn to aim well though? I used to be one of those insane kids that would go 50-2 every single game on Call of Duty or CS:GO but that was like 10 years ago. My aim is so terrible right now I genuinely don't know if practicing will actually do much to improve it any more.
Ow2 is hard man, I have never played the first one but I used to be pretty decent at other games, and I feel like I can get a quick basic grasp of my chosen characters, enough to win duos, enough to 1v2 sometimes 1v3, but Im still a long way from being really impactful on matches.

Me watching this after I went on a 13 game los streak with dps going 0-14 every game. And no, I'm not exaggerating... Every game we had someone who said it was their first time playing. Drove me crazy.
@@RabbitWhiteThe It's true that in the 20-30% of your games your DPS will probably be severely mentally disabled players because they might be playing on their secondary role (with a significantly lower rank than their primary role but yet matched with the higher elo players) However, I still manage to make them perform good by perma babysitting them as support. Furthermore, the other 20-30% of your games It's your DPS who are cracked, and the remaining 50% of the games the skill level is fairly leveled out. This being said, I only play SoloQ support because I'm too lazy and don't wanna spend >4 minutes in queue for dps role. I still went from bronze 5 to gold 2 in 2 weeks and yes I can prove that %%% rule exists and kinda stops me from ranking up faster but whatever, It's bearable as long as you're a good player yourself. Only advice I can give you is: 1. Play DPS 2. Play Support and babysit your dumb DPS + make the extra dmg difference 3. Don't do backseat gaming because all the time you spend flaming your crappy team you are gonna lose to make a difference and focus on the game + you're tilting your team and making them perform even worse or they might even go AFK / report you and you're going to be put in a low prio queue with toxic players
@@estrelletapolar bro gave a whole essay. I'm Plat and Diamond, and yes, I understand that over the course of 100games, the negetive odds even out. I'm merely pointing out that I went on a 13 loss streak, which ended at a 14 loss streak btw, due to dps literally being new. I actually had the games recorded, but for obvious reasons, never uploaded them.
Did you ever play Overwatch 1? The ranking system still works like the old one, it's just hidden (at least im pretty sure). So winning 7 games doesn't rank you up (otherwise everyone would be top rank, because who the hell loses 20 games in a row??) But rather after you win 7 games, it decides to show you your rank. So each win gives you points, and each loss takes away points. So if you win about as much as you lose, you should expect to stay the same rank. Say if you win 7 and lose 1, you'd probably rank up. Think of it more as "have i won more games than ive lost since i last ranked?" And that should help you get an idea of what rank you'll be after 7 wins. I wish the devs were more clear about this. Hope this helped!
@@roxanne8662 i know what you mean, but maybe i havent playing enough to make the judgement you made i started playing this game again before 1 month, i went from bronze 5 to gold 5 until now ( i didnt really play often, because my rage ) there was only one time in that period where i wouldnt get a rank up and that was in silver 2, but that could just be the reason for losing to much or either not doing enough, either way i didnt rank down
Easy and better tip, don't play competitive just play quick and don't be sweaty believe is not worth all the time nad maybe you know because how much you suffer, unwinnable teams and more and also the reward it not worth of it,the gold weapons are always in overwatch 1 and the new ones well...is green so is the same just change the color and BAM Pearl skin, Ruby skin but is the same and honestly. Why put a lot of time, effort and more when the machtmaking is awful and it doesn't matter how good you are and actually just matter win or lose? If you lose unfortunately you want to admit or not even if you was great support,a incredible tank or a fantastic dps,if you lose it Doesn't matter in the competitive mode is win or lose it doesn't care if you die a lot of times of you use terrible you're ultimate
im a support only player, and i can't get out of bronze no matter what i try... the best ive reached was bronze 1 but since then i got alot of troll and afk lobbies and im back to bronze 5 and stuck there. so the % is not right imo. and how am i able to climb when my team play and act like monkeh... i have 100% most healed every game (aside from afk/troll lobbies) but still not being able to win most of those "serious" games.. so how am i supposed to improve?
@CausalMistaFan thank you, in season 1 it was impossible to climb even with a 7 win streak... now in season 2 i stopped playing much but im already on my way to gold somehow its really strange
Dude, there's something really wrong on this: I'm an ex Apex pred. With 17years of competitive games before that (mostly COD and Battlefield). I'm new to OW, true, but I'm not bad at all generally speaking. I'm hard carrying literally ALL the games I play, as dps or as tank. I always have the highest dmg and kills on the lobby, both sides included (yeah, stats are not everything... but you get the idea). I'm definitely not saying I'm ready to be master or above, I'm still new at the game. But now... guess witch my rank is?? SPOILER: Bronze 4!!! I have 25kills every 10mins. 10.000 dmg every 10mins. I'm not saying those are pros stats, but... come on... bronze 4 hard stuck after 55h of competitive play??? I need to improve, a lot for sure, but you can't tell me that the rank system isn't broken at those levels. Nor tell me the only problem are the 40% games that I completely waste all the times cos of my mistakes or my lack of skills...
I saw the gameplay on your channel, it obviously shouldn't be bronze. More like high plat. The game has forced 50/50 matchmaking. The better you perform, the worse your matchmaking becomes in subsequent games. And then you have to go up against players 1v5 basically, which is impossible.
Hey ... i was high plat ... now ranked kicked me into silver ? I disagreed to play cancer/cringe/ez characters so iam doing this hard way. Smurfs in enemy team ... noobs in mine. No i havent problem with aim or positioning. There is problem ... i win 15games + iam mostly on top of leaderboard (NO RANK-UP) i loose 1 (DERANKED instantly) where is a fkin problem ? :D Iam now in silver 2 and slashing enemyes with 1 eye closed and still no RANK-UP. My final words? ( GAME IS SUPER BROKEN and unrewarding)
I hate yall saying its all up to me if i climb or not. Im calling bullshit. You cannot climb no matter what if your support. You say you can turn the tide of the match but thats only if your team knows what to do. I heal. They die. I damage they rush and die. Tank and dps climbing is easy. Support. Nah. I end up having to play zen and lock in/pop off sweating my ass off to even have a chance to win
If only the game actually worked like this. Just going off the last 20 games alone, I've doubled and one game TRIPLED every healers healing in the entire game, kept my deaths below 5, did everything imaginable for a support and still lost all but 2 of them. I would just watch my teammates as I healed them repeatedly overextending, positioning in the open instead of behind cover, other healer not even fucking healing anyone OR doing damage but instead walking around like they're lost, tanks that beg for heals while literally being healed as if their fucking hud is turned off, dps's that don't switch to counter pick anyone and worst of all, if you so much as ask someone to do something that could benefit the team, you're called toxic, flamed and reported. Fuck, that is a run-on sentence if I've ever seen one. Point is, there most definitely is not 40% of games that are within your control. It's so bad that either you queue up with friends you know can keep up with you, or you use cheats so you can make up for how fucking braindead your teammates are. I'm consistently doing 15k-20k healing games, doubling everyone's healing, doing as much damage as I can in between and keeping everyone alive as long as possible only for them to charge in to their deaths while critical. It's a joke.
I am in EU and I can tell you, you can't micro your team IF and thats a big IF someone is in voice they're actually not. They either listen to music or/and can't understand you anyway, since language barrier is still a thing, thus not hearing calls like "???? flanking the supports for the 1000th time" or something else nor do they hear elephant Soldier/Reaper flanks popping up behind and 1 tap them. It's multiple coinflips if you win a game or not. The best solution is (if you are on EU) get a VPN and play on NA or find a mate be it the same country or not and duo, other than that it is ELO HELL.
But what about when you win 8 out of ten games and don't rank up at all LOL? I duo cued with a buddy who is ranked plat, I'm silver... So the games should be higher ranked than my games. I carried, like 47 elims 4 deaths and we won 8 out of 10 games. I went from silver 2.... to silver 2. This is my alt account and my main is mid gold. It's been amazing watching ,e play the same on two accounts and seeing how one just will not climb.
Bruh I really couldn’t care less about my rank tbh I’m gold 5 for both DPS and healer no matter what I’ve been playing overwatch 2 since it came out last year it’s always the same for me no matter how many fucking kills I got no matter the damage or heals they will still place you either in the same rank or go up or down imo I feel like it’s kinda fucked tbh that’s why I’m just grinding comp points to get my golden weapons lmfao 😂😂😂😂
None of these tips actually help. You just said the obvious things everyone already knows: good mechanics, good aim and good game sense, blah, blah and blah. So here's the deal. I've been stuck in bronze for a long time now. I've tried literally everything. Playing healers, communicating with my team and hyping them up. Nothing has worked so far. As I already said, the tips that you gave are very basic and unhelpful. Even lf I had the best mechanics in the world, I wouldn't win even half of my games. You know why? Overwatch is a team game. I can't carry the whole team on my shoulders, can I? And don't come at me with generic comments, such as: "I grinded from bronze to diamond in two days." These types of comments are just bullshit and utter lies. And even if they were true, you have to have a set of teammates, who know what they are doing.
No one seems to understand this. No, I'm not coping. Yes, I understand there's room for improvement. But if the only answer to escaping elo hell is to simply git gud enough to carry all my games, the MM is heavily flawed.
I'm in Bronze 5, and I'm on PS4. I'm gonna STAY in Bronze 5!! Because this is some bullshit!! The rank system is absolute Trash!! Everyone says the Rank System isn't Performance Based, but in reality it is, so Kills, Damage, and less deaths DO MATTER!! Also, PC players have a HUGE advantage, and don't tell me they don't!!
My favorite part is when you get queued up with a team who work perfectly together and you roll through a game, smooth as butter, and then offer to stay as team and all 4 other players go their separate ways and immediately queue up for another random game... The level of stupid is amazing when you see this happen. Between smurfs, hackers and throwers, getting out of Silver has been the biggest nightmare. I am still new to the game, only 6 weeks in but my goodness this is a catastrophe to attain a gold rank.
My tip to anyone trying to get out of elo hell, just play torb, you litterally dont need this whole video when just playing torb will prob get you to diamond lol I play with my buddy and his group of master level friends alot and when I play with them in custom games i actually do incredibly well for my rank at the time as echo, tracer and other heros but then I go into my gold lobbies an get roled by torbs, so I picked up torb and I climbed out with ease, is it fun? Hell no which is why I actually think ow ranked is a sham lol but yea you can be good enough to impress your master level friends on echo and still not be able to do anything as her in gold and at that point just pick torb but now I find I'm prob not actually quite good enough on echo to make it in diamond lobbies because I bascially used torb as a cheat code to reach diamond instead of grinding through gold as my main lmao so that's always gonna be a problem but its honestly why ow is so dumb, it shouldn't even have a ranked if its gonna let win buttons like torb and moira run around. My real tip to anyone stuck in elo hell is to just play qp and treat the game like the anti competitive game it is that they created when they added so much auto aim and win button heros for low ranks 😂
Silvers (humiliated meat bag of nonconscious and dirt) : "what is teamwork bro only thing i know is dying playing bad making team loose die in the spawn use incredibly trashiest ults of the ow 2 historyand killing only 1 person the whole game and doing 0 dmg as a DPS so i can blame my team that they arent good enough to win while they have like literally 20.000 dmg and trying to carry me bruh im playing so good that i cant even get out of this elo omg my ults are soooo good right?" 🤓🤓
I used to think my team sucked.. Then I realized.. Im in gold.. the other team sucks too.. if I think I deserve a higher rank I should be able to carry on my current rank. Now if I lose I blame myself every time and more often than not can pinpoint the exact thing(s) I did that turned the match.
Out of all the competitive games I’ve played, OW Is BY FAR the easiest… valorant, CSGO, rust, even COD and Destiny are harder than OW. If you’re struggling to get past gold, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! Stop making excuses!
I want to say thank you for saying "overwatch is not Rock, paper, scissor". I played one hero for whole months and it was sucks hard. but later, i learn how to out-best your own worst matchup. It takes skill to reach the rank.
