When using the annual billing statement don't we have to use the month/s of the highest usage(June 617kWh and Aug 621kWh) to estimate the size of the solar system?

in your previous calculation to determine the number of panels you got 12 panels based on the consumption and the peak sun hrs, now u get 7 to 9 modules when u calculate to determine the size of the inverter ... i don't understand. do we use 12 panels or 7 to 9 panels?

Very useful video. However I have a question. As you very well know, the patterns of energy consumption throughout the day does not match the energy generation. Hence, the solar panels are producing most energy during the time of the day where people are at work, and stop generating when people are home again. That is why I do not see the logic between sizing a non-grid and a on-grid installation the same size. The on-grid may have to be a larger installation in order to break-even with the extra net-energy sold to the grid during the day, to compensate for the energy consumption at night. This is especially true during the winter times. Would you be able to address this issue?
