My favorite black dermatologist, your skin is glowing. I’m waiting for your skincare line. I would like a video on peptide and the best product. Thanks
I'm waiting on the skincare line as well. 😍 Please also sell it in Europe if... when you get there in your journey. I second the video on peptides! Thank you!!
Yes Please! Make a video for products that help with body pigmentation, and body retinols. Fragrance-free and cruelty-free, if possible. Thank you so much!
This video is absolutely incredible❣️ I always refrain from asking questions because I know you are extremely busy juggling personal and professional obligations. And the fact that you recorded this after having several commitments…❤️ The creative vehicle of addressing the most common questions is pure genius-the concept may have been done by others but the way you impart knowledge is a gift. Thank you 🙏🏽
I’ve been waiting a long time for a video that addresses BODY hyperpigmentation/scarring - especially for darker skin tones. PLEASE educate us on that.
I would love a video specifically for body hyperpigmentation...for example areas neck, chest, back, butt (from acne) armpits, knees, shins, and bikini area.
I love the amount of information this doctor provides in every one of her videos that I've seen so far. They are extremely educational. Thank you so much.
I don’t want to be Beyoncé. I don’t want to be Cardi B. I don’t want to be you, but I aspire to be like you. With that being said, I DO WANT THE SKIN THO SIS! PERIODT. Have a wonderful day Dr. Stephens.
I love your advice and you are truly trusted. Thank you so much. I am 61 yrs old and my skin is looking so much better. You are a blessing to women of color.
An appreciation post, Dr Stephens, finding you in 2020 and applying the knowledge you share saved and completely transformed my skin. I went from dehydrated, acne inflamed, hyperpigmented skin to clear, acne controlled, bright skin in 3-4 months. I now direct everyone to you. Thank you so much!
Yes please do a video on body products and also a general body routine (eg is it ok to physically exfoliate, how often exfoliating is recommended, does showering twice a day strip skin from natural oils, is it ok to use anti perspirants or are natural deodorants recommended etc)
A video about how to achieve retain hair length for women 50+ (especially with fine 4c hair would be greatly appreciated. I am learning so much with you and sharing you videos with as many women as possible. Thank you so much Dr. Alexis for your very well presented and clear videos. May God continue to bless; protect and favour you and your family.
I love a video on peptides. I am still confused on how to effectively work them in my skincare routine, because I know peptides and amino acids are harder to penetrate into the skin.
Yes, I would definitely love to see a video about retinol use on body and actives too.❤️❤️❤️❤️your videos. Appreciate all you doing to educate and inform all WOC.
Omg. I wish we have someone like you here in Germany. I saw many dermatologist but none of them were so good educated about skincare or treatments or something else. Thank you for sharing your Tipps and Tricks. Big hugs from Germany 🥰😘
Since using a retinal regularly, I find less of a need to exfoliate with acids. My skin feels so smooth with the retinal alone that once I’ve used up my AHA and BHA I probably won’t repurchase. Retinal is a wonderful exfoliate on its own 😊
Thank you so much! This entire video is wonderful. I’d love for you to one day do a video on in office procedures (microdermabrasion, hydrafacials, etc) which are good for regular “upkeep” or to speed up cleaning up hyperpigmentation
Please my favorite dermatologist, we do need recommendations and tips for body care! How to make it look even, smooth etc. thank you for your great work as always. ❤
Dr Alexis I hope one day when you see this comment. I wanted to express just how much I sincerely appreciate and thank you for taking the time to read comments genuinely your help is so so appreciated sending you lots of love! ❤
Thank you Dr. Stephens, like many others been coming back to your videos alot to figure out routines that I can implement fairly quickly because you give SO MANY product recommendations catering to different circumstances. This makes starting the process of skincare maintenance way less overwhelming by removing a lot of guesswork upfront.
I have searched the web for this information and could not find it to save my life. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I use Taz and do not exfoliate because I don’t want to burn my face. I’ve always wanted to know if there’s a proper way to do this. ETA: I was just considering the skinbetter serum. Glad to know you give a (tentative) thumbs-up!
Thank you so much Dr. Stephens! I'm blessed to be able to afford Skinbetter products, looove them and they work. Just for reference, I'm a medium-deep skinned woman in my late 40s, oily-combination skin with mild acne and some ridiculous hyperpigmentatiom/dull skin issues. Started using Cyspera in May 2021-on my 2nd tube now. Still using it daily and my skin is improving. My routine (very simple) includes products Dr. Alexis mentioned-and they work beautiful-esp. For my reactive skin. AM routine: 1. Cyspera for 15-20 mins. 2. IS clinical cleansing complex 3. Skinbetter Science ALTO Defense Serum (for vitamin c) 4. ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica Emulsion SPF 50 (does leavr a bit of a cast-which later dissapears) PM routine: includes double cleansing: 1a. Elemis cleansing balm 1b. IS Clinical cleansing complex 2. Eye cream-Eyemax by Skinbettet 3. A Retinoid-Skinbetter Science Alpharet Overnight Creme (For the next 2 weeks, I will be trying Skinbetter Clearing Serum-got samples-will update.) 4. Treatment: Once a week one on Tuesdays and the mask on Fridays-Skinbetter Science peeling pads(so strong and I use with the TRIO Moisturizer)/a clay mask. Love Skinbetter Science products.🙏🏽
This video was extremely helpful! Please would you do a video on body acne. Specifically chest and back acne. I've been suffering with these for years 😩
I start watching you about 2 months ago. I call u my dermatologist...lolo Thank you so much. My skin has improved so much since following u. I screen shot n purchase. I still have a very long way to go....I need to make a trip to your clinic so I can take my face to the next level, a level that have never been.
Thanks Dr! Your videos are soooo informative and helpful! ❤️ Please make a video recommending body products for body hyperpigmentation, dry skin and stretch marks🙏🏾
This video was very helpful, I was waiting patiently for it! Thank you for answering my question directly and always looking out for us melanated folks 💜💜💜
Excellent video! Your skin looks flawless! Use most of products you recommend but would like a video for wrinkles and sagging on mature skin for us senior citizens please!
Ive been battling with my skin for years now. Finally got my hands on some Differin, I’ve been researching for a couple of weeks now BUT since finding you I’ve had to look no further!♥️ Your videos have answered all my questions and I’ve learnt so much, (so happy you’re on TikTok too hehe) Thank you for your wonderful videos God bless you!😘
Thank you for your stellar work. I would welcome a video on retinol eye creams. Every product says to avoid the delicate eye area, so my face is transformed, but the skin around my eyes remains dull and needs attention. Thank you.
Yes, please a video on peptides in skincare! Product recommendations and where to place in a routine would be very beneficial. Thank you for your videos. :)
Thank you a lot. Your explanation are so helpful, clear and clever. I'm beginning to lose my fear of using retinol. What you're doing is so much needed and might avoid people from damaging their skin using wrongly some products.
Thank you Dr Stephens. You are my online go-to. I appreciate the quality of the products that you recommend. Many of the less expensive retinols recommended elsewhere contained chemicals that I cannot/choose not to use for my concerns e.g.mineral oil, petrolatum, stearic acid. I deeply appreciate your recommendations and tips. Thanks, again. 🙏🏾
This was really helpful! Thank you for the information and your time! Also - ✅To a video on peptides and retinols and ✅To a video on retinols for the body!
Thank you Dr Alexis for these videos on skincare. I live in England and alot of these items are very difficult to find, not even via Amazon. I'm grateful for the information and will do the best I can with what is available.
You're beautiful, very classy, sophisticated, and simple at the same time. You truly care for your audience. I have learnt alot from you compared to a bunch of videos I have watched because of authenticity and your passion for us to understand about skincare. Thank you. 🥲
I DEFINITELY NEED that body retinoid product list PLEASE! 😭 I been doing as you say facial wise. Still having pigment / dark spot on the body problems due to past ingrown hairs an such. Thank you in advance!
