This is an hardware issue, when volume up and down button gets shorted. Remove ur cover and give some taps n kicks on volume button till Both the buttons should work independently(+ button should navigate upwards and - button should navigate downwards independently). Then try to reboot it will work.
@@wakwok7708 First remove mobile cover then please try tapping behind the volume buttons on your mobile until they start working properly. This means that both buttons should work correctly, with the up button navigating upward and the down button navigating downward. Once you see that both are working properly, please restart your mobile.
My redmi note 8 pro just crashed after the update. It is restarting by itself and can't even get to any menu at all. I tried pressing all 3 buttons for a minute and everything I could find on you tube. Nothing works! And yes, my phone was plugged during the update. 100% Battery
Try to press & hold power button and volume up button or power button with volume down button. If it doesn’t work, try to plug your phone with a computer & install miui manually.
@@yashwinedward8689 I did not managed to fix it. From time to time I can get into the first setup menu. But whatever I press nothing works. I tried everything I could find on the internet. Pressing all the buttons and so on. Now my redmi note 8 pro just keeps restarting by itself until the battery dies.
If you have Mi account and your phone's data was synced with Mi cloud then simply go to the website, login with your user name and password & then youncan access your data. If you don’t have Mi account then I would suggest you take your phone to your nearest Mi center/electronics market and take help of a professional.
It works, but I can't turn off my phone and my volume keeps going up without me pressing the volume button and idk what I am supposted to do, could you or someone help me with that?
It might either be due to the protective cover, or, software problem, or, your volume up button might have got stuck. First try to update software, & if the problem persists, take your phone to a local technician.
There are data recovery apps in play store, download any app and try to recover your data. If that doesn’t work, take your phone to a professional and try to recover tour data.
The best solution that I am sure about working effectively is : 1) Press the third option (Connect with MiAssistant) 2)Put the phone in charge 3)Dont do anything else and wait for around 5 minutes maximum 4) Voila , your phone would restart by itself to the actual lock screen. Thank me if it works.
@mariellenejar2590 I can understand the fear, anxiety and paranoia one can have while going through the situation, but sometimes the best method to fix something is to just sit back and wait.
