Who else agrees that these ladies educate and see their anxieties of the same time I’m so thankful for all of these podcasts. I’ve been doing Charlotte Mason for six years now and I feel like I can never learn the full wealth of knowledge that these homeschool moms have just know what a blessing you all are to us. Not only do you teach us how to slow down and study for our children, but slow down and study for ourselves what a wealth of knowledge you are. Thank you so much.

This is perfect timing for our homeschool. I have been pondering high school level ups for fine arts. I would love to hear your thoughts on leveling up composer study as well.

How many days of the week would you suggest or how would the week look if there are different elements of the picture study to be done?

Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out, this is an excellent question! You are always welcome to tweak the schedule as you see best to fit your family, however SCM would recommend continuing to schedule picture study once per week. In the high school years, this lesson can be expanded up to 30-45 minutes and you can call it "art appreciation" adding in additional elements or reading on the topics that you are studied for your older student. So you still may start the family all together and then assign your high school student to go off on their own to continue that study at a deeper level with some of the suggestions from this post, or you may assign it to them later that day or week depending on what best fits your schedule!
