This is all so generous. I couldn't pass by without dropping this appreciation. Thanks so much for helping me save some time and stress. I'm using AE2022 and this is very helpful.
Thank you; this is useful to know. No idea why h264 is no longer available. My previous PC practically died and I had to upgrade to an SSD, and the newer versions of AE don't have the codec. I made a 15 minute video and only one third of the way through rendering the file was already 3.5gb when using 'QuickTime' output on 'animation' setting. I ended up using Media Encoder which made the entire video 300mb.
Brooooooooooo You're the best.... Like, kudos to you.... I think you're the only RU-vidr that gave such an amazing method... Others were just giving unhelpful things
I can't be negative, but I can see a lot of people are benefiting from this. But your title said export to MP4, not export and encode using handbrake. I guess for beginners, this is a life saver
someone pls help me omg I’m trying to render my edit for 2 days, i tried with Media Encoder and render que too, In Media Encoder they say failed in the middle so just my intro installs, and with render que is the same
Usually, you require a media encoder to export an after effect file as mp4, however, in this tutorial, we will teach you how to export your video as mp4 without a media encoder and without h264.
