A sweatband around your head while taking it off is a trick I used to prevent the spray from dripping down to my eyes

Mine is 4 mos old. I really dont use the products mentioned or advised. Reason why is mine is 80% synthetic 20 human. I have to have synthetic and i like it better than when i had a human. I used to dye my hair when i was graying. Finally i let it go and now my color is 80% gray. Gray hair in units are always gray. And that's fine with me. I use tape around my poly unit.Works good, I take the unit off at night which i think will lengthen thevlife of it. So the next 5-6 days all i do is put it on and the tape is really tight.

@@holo406 This is based on your maintenance and the material the base is made of, sometimes it can be used up to six months before replacing a new one

I use tape intermittently at the sides & back. Got2b glue in the front , mid & back as well. I don’t really take out the tape every time, only until it easily slides off when washed. I workout often so i wash twice a week.

It depends on your level of experience. Our client Rick does his maintenance in about 10-15 minutes, but for others it can be around 1-2 hours. However that amount of time is only once every 1-2 weeks

I suggest not to use hot /warm water as I might stretch e thin PU.

Is the conditioner supposed to touch the base? Will it hurt the base and cause shedding?

Yes, please try to avoid conditioner from touching base as it can cause some damage to the knots which will lead to shedding

The HD111 usually lasts around 6 weeks since it is a disposable unit

@@freesky1991 If durability is what you're looking for, mono is definitely the way to go. With proper care they can last 6+ months

This system is about 1 month old at the time Hector is recording this video, which is approaching the end of the recommended lifespan of an HD111. But we think it still looks pretty good!
