I was so confused when 4:57 when he said “Jesus stepbrothers and step sisters" but now my friend explained that Jesus is not a son of Joseph but a son of God almighty who was sent to be born and die for my sins🙌🏾

Amen And Hallelujah my brother...It's a long story how I got to this message tonight.... But At the end of the day and in total reality..... God Planned and set up that I would Find this on RU-vid on 1/22/22 @ 12:51 Saturday morning.... to make me and mold me into a servant of God ...I am a Hands on....24/7 more or less..... "Working Out in the field" of the world..... more polished ....more prepared.... To Actively combat The devil and his minions....Christian Since the dawn of time.... And WE are Apparently BOTH servants of God....actively... physically... Implementing Gods' Will ....Sooooo to wrap it up.... I am Praying every day to be a vessel for him aka God's work... Not my will... Trying to keep my Desires and own stupidity...out of the way and tuning in his will....Trying to listen intently...By tuning into Gods' will..... Sooooo Preach on brother😇.... And thank you for being you😊☺

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (August 2), James 1:1-11 was to have been the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Faith and Wisdom." Sadly, due to the Corona Virus outbreak, Sunday School activities have been suspended.

Other Scriptures from our service today were as follows (The 9th Sunday after Pentecost): Old Testament Isaiah 55:1-5; Psalm 145:8-9, 14-21; New Testament/Epistle Romans 9:1-5; and the Gospel Lesson Matthew 14:13-21. This is where Jesus fed the multitude with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. At the church that I played for today (guest organist), the pastor also brought out that this was after the murder (and that's what it was) of John the Baptist. Even though his heart was heavy and he wanted to be alone, he still healed the sick and as we saw, fed them. Maybe you can do a sermon on these Scriptures in the future. BTW, you have the same name as my maternal great grandfather (John Bunyan Miller).
