Hi sorry for silly question but I’ve just been given one of these spa112 units and I’d love to know what I can do with it. You are the third video I’ve clicked on and yours is recent. I’m in New Zealand.
I have a SPA122 I use fo a simple 2 analog dial network to simulate dial-up connections, which I would like to expand it to 4 devices. Can I use the 112 as well? The 122 seems less common and harder to find.
The device won't be the problem, it can communicate over starlink no problem. What might be an issue is NAT and your providers compatibility with Starlink. Most will work but in a few instances (like Andrews & Arnold) with any SIP phone, Starlink "CGNAT" (Carrier Grade NAT) can cause call ringing reliability issues. It's definitely worth a try to see!
