tl,dw; Hold the reset button down for 10 seconds. How to factory reset a Ruckus ZoneFlex R310 wireless AP using a paperclip or pin. This returns the WiFi access point to default settings. The one I tested on was in Unleashed mode.
I lost internet service. AT&T came out and fixed it but now my access points flash green. I guess unable to obtain an IP address. Resetting the access points has not worked. Any recommendations?
@@freename the 2 access points are wired to a larger ruckus box (not sure what it’s called) which is directly wired to the Att router. The box also accepts hard wired connections.
Your Google is as good as mine. I don't know off the top of my head either :( sorry. However if correctly factory reset it should be back to the default password, not a custom password.
Just moved into a house that has all this ruckus stuff. We've been here for days and cannot figure it out. Every instruction or tutorial is clearly designed for IT people, and not random home owners. I never know what these terms, and abbreviations everyone's using mean. Took me forever to figure out what power on the AP meant. Dafuq is an AP 🤣 kill me
Lucky you! The first thing I'd say is you need the controller details or login info to make changes or do anything sensible with he system. If that can't be found you will have to factory reset each one and enroll them on a controller or use "unleashed mode" firmware to turn one of them into a controller. Though I'd advise getting an IT person in who has seen Ruckus before if you are short of time or get stuck with networking and wireless terminology. Good luck!
