How to factory reset apple watch manually (No Pin Req)

If you forgot your Apple Watch Pin or if you purchase a new Apple Watch that wasn't properly reset, you can manually reset by following the steps on this video.
How to reset Apple Watch Manually:
1) Press the power button and hold it until the power off slider appears.
2)Press slightly hard on the screen where you see the round icon for the power icon.
3) After 5-10 seconds, let go your finger and a new menu should appear to reset your apple watch.
4) Once you are on the screen to reset your apple watch and you press the reset button, it will ask you to connect your apple watch charger
5) Connect your apple watch charger and continue with the reset process.

I so much appreciate ☝🏻 Buying Apple Watch from offer up is risky because most of the time Apple Watch from offer up come with an icloud lock without knowing until it’s time to pair it to a device

If resetting it takes you back to the locked screen Switch it off, then press the power button to turn it back on, as it comes back on with the apple logo hold the power button and it will come up with the reset option then click reset, confirm then put in charge pad whilst it resets. Worked for me 👍

Tried every way I could find on youtube and was always stuck on the reset circle for 10 minutes to end up with a lock screen. Tried your method and it reset in 3 mins successfully to be set up again. Life saver.

When you go to power off, don’t have it connected to the charger

That’s a good video, thank you! Can you please give me some advice why my series 1 watch stuck on the screen that shows to erase all content? When I start the process, it seems to be like it’s doing it and after about 75 percent the screen goes black and the “erase all content” screen shows up again. I tried it million times, doing the same. Help me please, how can I get it work again? It started after upgrading my SE2022 to iOS 16 I think.

Hey when I try this I don’t get a power off slide bar. It just powers off and I don’t get the erase button. Pleases help. It does charge and it does show a blue lock icon at the top

I had this problem. I did not have a passcode on the watch. Go into passcode and set one up and then the press and hold power button works as shown.

hold down the power button and slide to power off, then press to turn back on, when the apple logo shows up hold the power button down until the option shows up, it seems like it’s not going to do it but it shows up

Turn the Apple Watch off, then turn it back on. When you see the apple logo come up while it’s powering on, hold down the power button until you get the question. Hold it down for a long time. It’ll come up

Let me tell you how fucking irritated I was at this video... I recently purchased an apple watch someone did not reset (it was shipped from eBay) and when I contacted the seller they hadn’t responded for several days.... so I googled and found this video. I spent 6 hours trying to reset this damn thing only to realize if you hold the power button down until the power off slide comes on then hold down the crown, it will immediately pop up to allow you to erase everything. Your method turned my fingers raw.

this is very helpful but although it didn't end up being the video that fully helped me due to my left half of the screen not being functional i was using a 2nd gen apple watch and i couldn't press and hold the slide circle, if your looking for how to reset it without a fully functional touch then just try to fidget with the what side the scroll is on setting, that allowed me to touch the reset button in settings

im charging my old series one now but i had a friend that broke his phone and could not disconnect it so he had to reset his apple id and stuff like that and it took like 3 month. i just hope I can reset it now
