@@nicholaschavez9204 Basically bald at that point. I remember when my mom used to always make me get a buzzcut at the barber. I didn't like the short hair but I wasn't sure what the numbers meant. I was like 7 or something so I assumed one was the highest number you could get so I could keep the most hair. I told the barber to give me a 1 all around and saw this dude instantly reduce my hair to millimeters and I genuinely thought it was never gonna regrow so I started bursting into tears.
Sounds very egotistical, and out of touch with reality, saying that someone that is a beginner at something will never become good at it, because they messed up in the beginning 🤣
a lot of barbers suck tbh. I'm better than some barbers, and i basically practiced on me and my bros. for instance, i can do a fade. Some barbers struggle with good fades. Keep up your hard work and you'll perfect your techniques.
This was the clearest tutorial I've seen in a long time! Got right down to business and explained everything step-by-step. Nicely done bro! You've got a new subscriber!
This is great, im not trained to cut hair but i allways cut my sons hair nowadays (gotta save money where u can) he allways loves his trim and im always proud of my work, it would be great if more people shared there professional talents to help others, props to you my friend ♥️
@@abc876 yeah but they was more high top fades bro. The low fade became more popular in early 2000 to like 2006. Then long hair came back again. Then the fade lol 😆
So helpful, great that you explain what the guards actually do. “Use this guard to take out this line” I haven’t cut hair for over a year after a course in barbering, saw this video and did it step by step and the results were good, of course I’ll keep practicing because it’s an art and not something you learn overnight! Thanks!
I was going to say the same thing, he cut all the weight off the sides way too early. It's a nice fade but it's not a regular fade, it's definitely higher than it could've been. And with this particular style of hair a nice low fade would've given a really nice look too
@@youngdmo many people wouldn't complain that's just the thing, it is a nice fade, and it's definitely not a bad haircut. Just not what the client would've asked for like in the video title. Some people are picky, but you pay to be picky lol
Things you didn’t mention. 1.perfectly hair to fade. 2.used enhancements edge up area 3.how the haircut came out i figured you detailed from 8-20 min which is why new barbers feel tutorials aint worth it they dont show this part!
"Flawless" my brotha, I have four boys so you know I got pretty good with the clippers too but thanks for the tips.. now I can't wait for a touch up, "line up boys.!!" Lol
Thanks for your videos bro! I’m a beginner, but I’m having trouble blending that trimmer line with the clippers. Do I need to zero gap my clippers to be able to really blend the trimmer line and zero guard closed lever? I’m using the wahl legend clippers and wahl hero trimmers.
Try to rotate the trimmer and do a scoop motion when doing the first guideline as if you do like he did in this video the trimmer is closer to the skin so it makes it harder the remove with the clipper , im a beginner aswell just dont give up its hard at first but gets easier with time good luck tho :)
That was my biggest struggle aswell. I set the bald guideline with my clipper closed and use my trimmer under that. Make sure to scoop out with your trimmer. Getting your clippers zero gapped will help but I dont recommend if you're just starting.
Thank you🙏🏼 this fade gave me so much confidence I went to parties and LITERALLY you can be anyone when you rock a fade you’re suddenly the In-Crowd😂 true fact
If you want to show something that the untrained person at home can do then you do it logically and step by step. You start with the longest hair setting that you want at the top of the fade (let's say you wanted a 5) and you do all the hair at that setting. Then you adjust to the 4 and do the next step. Leaving about a centemeter at the top at 5 and doing everything below that at 4. Then you do the next step, adjust to 3, leave about a centemeter of 4 and everything below that can be a 3, and keep doing this until you get to the one at the bottom and then you can do the final rounding off and clean the last part off with a razor. Even a completely untrained person can do it this way with a zero possibility of messing up if you take it step by step by step.
I think he’s saying that because of how high up the fade actually starts. I cringed a little bit when I saw him shave the back line to start because of how high it was, just not my thing I guess
You should let everyone know that the JRL’s open up to a #1 cause that makes a difference in taking out the bulk of the hair. But fades dumb clean bro! Dope tutorial👑🔥
