Here this beautiful woman is showing you some make-tips to achieve fuller lips...some of you were blessed with & others maybe not so much....take what you want from the video & if it doesn't apply to you...move on...STOP making everything including this well-done make-up video a "race issue." I loved her make-up tips & will subscribe to her videos b/c she obviously "knows" what she is talking about...whereas "others" just want to complain....don't watch then...go someplace else. Africans have had for a long time, now since a beautiful (white is considered beautiful) person made her lips bigger, now everyone wants it. Same for tanning, European descent use to hate the look of dark skin, until Coco Chanel said she was going to tan. It's giving credit where it's not due. Say other races have plump lips too, they're from someone in their family along the line.
Mij Beth there are other ethnicities & cultures whose women has many of the same characteristics as African American women; such as Latina, Cuban, & mixed ancestory.....I don't think you hear us crying about giving us "credit" for things as much as I do African-Americans. Come on, people who are "insecure" seek validation from "others" those who are "secured" don't need it, b/c they know what & who they are....as I said in my previous post if you can use something from this video regardless of "who" is making it, take the tips & look better. Elena S. We r all mixed. This is a distinct featured multi-racial people have. My black sisters had thick lips forever, peolle looked down on us. White women have evolved to want pale skin, slender bodies and red stained lips, look through European history. If a white girl has curly hair and thicker lips, you'll find an African ancestor. I'm sleaking the truth. I'm okay with Kylie Jenners 'new' lips, they look good, but this is inspired from other multi-racial people, people are behaving like it never existed. Latin women are descended from people who lived in the tropics and people from Spain, and even slaves (mind I say African slaves), the Aztecs had features similar to Africans but not as deep. When you like in a certain environment you evolve to adapt to the area. Darker skin is an example. I understand why your saying this in defending yourself, I'm saying this because I have facts. If you you have further more arguments I am open, I'm here to learn :)

I'm talking about how races evolved. Why don't you read facts instead of preaching your biased opinions? Read anything from cosmetics to evolution, they state white women have distinct features while other races are very different. We don't all look the same. In Europe, they never saw the sun that much, so paler skin, slender nose (to help with the cold) came about, opposite for Africans and different but similar to other races. Asians have more fat packed around their eyes to protect them from the cold. Everyone jnherits traits from an ancestor.

It is predominantly black people with big features, features that have always been beautiful but have always been criticized (of course it is no longer criticized since people like Kylie Jenner have somehow made our features "accepted.") If you see Kylie without makeup on, on the show, her lips are really tiny. It almost looks as if she has none. She does this with her lips, that's why it's called "The Kylie". She didn't pump her lips with silicon, despite what's been said in magazines and on the internet.
***** Kylie just posted a photo recently on Instagram with absolutely no makeup on. Her lips are still huge. I'm sure she over lines her lips a bit, but I'm a makeup artist and there is absolutely no way her lips get THAT big with lip liner alone. You can't have lips that small and over line them that much, they just won't look good. When over lining your lips, you need to stay very close to the natural line of your lips, so if Kylie were to do that with small lips, they still wouldn't be as big as they are right now. She definitely has gotten lip injections, BUT, that being said, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that!! Women should be allowed to do WHATEVER they want without being ridiculed for it. All power to Ms. Jenner. :)
C heart In my opinion, Jay-Z has great lips. They're nice & full and pouty. ...great lips. Kerry's lips are also fabulous as is a whole lot of other people. Black people aren't the only people on the planet with full lips. There are white people with full lips, Asians, etc. Also, not all black people have full lips. I have relatives who's lips a thin.
And that's the problem, right there. Many black women have beautiful full lips but other cultures and races would make fun of them. Watch older cartoons and see how they mock African Americans with the exaggerated features.. So then some white girl , (Kylie Jenner) comes along, and gets lip fillers and all of a sudden her lips are so beautiful? GTFO with that mess.

Yes please do a tutorial on this look! And it looks so good with the black clothing. I just started over lining my lips and I love it! I have a really small but pouty mouth, so I like to make my lips look a bit wider and fuller. It's just fun to do once in awhile :)

I love her eye makeup, the inner lower line especially. She has used what appears to be a pink or red, an unusual choice, but it has the effect of making her eyes look whiter and the eyes stand out well. Really stunning.

I've always had small bird lips & wanted injections & then this past January I nearly lost my top lip when my dog attacked me & I had to get 35 stitches now I have a couple scars & one side is even thinner. So I've been trying to find the best way to over line without it looking cray & it's depressing looking at my hundreds of lipsticks everyday bc they're so hard to wear now lol but your tips really helped 💋

My problem is, I have an awful lip shape. The cupids bow is pointy instead of rounded and it goes down too far, and then my lips end before the line of my mouth does if that makes sense. They're also naturally down turned so if I'm not smiling my lipstick looks shitty.

Probably because Kerri's look so natural. They most likely are, and it's unrealistic for the average person to try to get her lip shape. Angelina's have that kind of swollen Botox look. Of course, hers may be natural as well. In my opinion, they're not as perfect as Kerri's.
