this food is not suitable for a four-week-old puppy. They are going from just drinking milk to trying to crunch up some hard kibble? They barely have teeth at four weeks so they are not able to grind it well enough before swallowing. This leads to all kinds of digestive issues and underweight puppies. You need to grind it to a powder in a food processor before mixing with milk replacement (i use goats milk - warm which also helps to soften). ust like with human babies, you start by offering them 90% milk and only 10% food (powder) mixed together, then you slowly increase the food percentage and make a mash type consistency. Kibble like this is only given to my pups once they turn 7 weeks.
