This is my version of a field point recovery tool.
This idea is not mine. One of my club members made several of these for friends.
My design is double ended.
I previously bought the Saunders point puller, which has a T configuration and is quite small. However I found it hard to use in confined spaces.
It's saved me a few shafts that would have otherwise split or shattered if I had tried to pull them out of wood or roots.
I sourced the tube on eBay, and have installed two inserts using hot melt glue. Easy to replace if the insert is blocked or broken.
