So on point. Knowing what I wanted to do with my life started with knowing what my purpose in life is. Finding my purpose in life helped me to figure what I want to do with my life. Great tips.
I so needed this, thank you! I know what it is that I want to do, what calls me louder than anything else, that makes my heart sing when I think about doing it. But then, I start working towards it and it's hard, really hard and I crumble because I just don't think I am good enough.
- what do I actually want? step 1: figure out what you don't want what about my life do I dislike?(be honest) what persistent thoughts am I avoiding? where do I feel like I am letting myself down? step 2: work on your courage and self-worth step 3:figure out what you want your life to look like -what are my values? -when am I inflow? -what positive content do I consume the most?(positive content= content that leaves you feeling good) use the gap strategy 18:56 gap strategy example 19:40
Love the part about what questions I'm avoiding. Now thinking about it, that's definitely what held me back for a while. When I had my quarter life crisis a few years ago, I didn't dare to think that I could do anything else other than working a boring 9-5. And so I've avoided asking myself what I truly wanted. And I've avoided asking myself if there was another kind of life that I would enjoy much more... Well, finding yourself is a long process 😄 Thank you so much for these super valuable tips!
Happy that I bumped into her video, even it's long, the topics are actually interesting that it will make you watch it until the end... Love the fact that she gives a lot of explanations and examples
This has been the most helpful inspirational video I have watched on how to figure out what to do with your life. Thank you so much for sharing and for the time and energy put into this video! 🤍🤍
In last days I watch so many of your videos and I'm absolutely amazed! You are giving a great value, advices which are down to earth and honest. Also I totally love your personality❤️ the most authentic and real person in a self-development RU-vid corner💖 (I know what I want to do in life but last tip is great anyway 😁 time to take more action, no magic tricks ;) )
I love and follow you for so long and I finally started taking action and after 5 years of dreaming I finally work so hard to start my own small business at age of 22. Thank you for sharing your tips through the years and helping to start my journey ❤❤❤
What if the areas where you are letting yourself down are “everything*”?! :-(. It’s not depression, by the way. More like overwhelm. *health/fitness *social relationships *family relationships *work performance *job satisfaction *engagement in hobbies *spiritual connection What if I can’t even remember the last time, or any time, that I felt “in the flow”? I lose track of time for many other reasons-unfortunately not for being in the flow.
#GameChanging Thanks for always encouraging the masses. I can't wait to begin my coaching and mentoring. You have been a positive influence and encouragement. Also would love to have you on the cover of my magazine.
💫notes💫 *Step 1. Figure out what you don't want* • what do i dislike abt my current life? • what persistence thoughts am i avoiding? (Use your intuition and be brutally honest with yourself) • where am i letting myself down? *Step 2. Work on your self worth and courage* *Step 3. Figure out what you want to do with your life* • what are my values? • when am i in flow? • what positive content do i consume the most? (RU-vid, podcast, books, etc.)

🤔 "What persistent thoughts am I avoiding? Where am I letting myself down?" Mmm you definitely called me out with these ones Erin Lol. 😩🤣 Thank you! 🙏🏾💚💫
Be selfish. You can't pinpoint exactly what you want in life if you're constantly sacrificing your time and dreams for other people. Regret nothing. Figure out what you need. Determine what really bothers you. Determine what makes you truly happy. Let people around you know what you're trying to achieve. Stay positive.
My GOD....thank you so much - I’ve tried to find something like this for soooo long! Truly In have. You spoke so much sense, offered some refreshingly different approaches and gave me a structure to follow too. I’m going to watch again and journal away and try to get my life on some kind of track. Would love coaching with you 💓
here i am totally lost in life decided to get on you tube and all i got was hustle culture motivational videos...and then, there was you. Clear and concise strategies that are easily comprehendible. Thank you, you're and angel
Let's take this from straight job assessment. This is my weekly topic for my own subscribers. Career. One thing that can really bring a person into depression is 40 hours a week of hating their job. The job is literally almost half of the waking life. The problem many people have is that they have a craving for security. The person will tolerate being unhappy if that is their normality. People would rather have secure bitterness than the fear of stepping off the cliff. The fact is that you can change your career anytime. At 40 or 50. I once knew a car salesman of 30 years who did really well but started to hate his job--so became a nurse at 57. He is now a travel contractor. His friends told him he would be 57 by the time he got licensed as an RN. He told them he would be 57 anyway. So he will now spend the next ten years doing something he likes instead of something he hates. But you have to decide if it is life on the sea you hate or just that ship you're traveling on. In other words--do you hate your trade or just the company you're at? But whatever you aren't happy with you must change and continue to advance yourself. Hope this helps someone---Charles.
Omg thank you for this! I'm so happy to have found this video cus you are straight to the point and explain the process so well. I've been so lost after having a baby and i just need abit more help with getting myself back on track.
THIS IS A PERFECT VIDEO FOR US WHO ARE IN THEIR EARLY 20s. I RESONATED SO MUCH WITH WHAT YOU SAID! I am a student and was preparing for a competitive exam which I could not crack. People suggested me to give another attempt but deep down I felt I don't want to do this anymore. So now what am I gonna do? I don't know. And I am okay with it. I will try out your exercises. I am sure it will help me. Thank you so much for this lovely video lady. This video can literally change lives!
I like the idea of picturing what I don’t want as well as what I do want. Being honest about what I dislike about my life is a wake up call for sure! Thank you for another great video. I SOOOO admire you!
thank you so much for making this video! I actually followed step by step everything you said (which I rarely do) and I learned so much about myself from it. One thing I found is that when I was trying to figure out why I have been sleeping late recently for the practice and I realized it's because I have been spending most of my daytime doing things I "should do" and being procrastinating on them because I don't enjoy doing them. When I finish all those works, I finally want to do something I enjoy before going to sleep, which means I have to stay up late to do them. I will try to spend less time on things I don't enjoy doing and leave more time for those activities i love! thank you so much again and I really appreciate all these inspirations you provide on your channel!
Hey beauty! This is super common and a big part of my mission is to help people take the action they actually enjoy! Have you downloaded my extraordinary life workbook? I think you will really enjoy it!
I loved your question "What areas of my life do I dislike?"!! Such a deep question. To me saying "no" is very difficult, so this is so crucial in order to get ahead in life. Thank you, Erin!! I love watching and applying your content. And I also love that by now you have built such a large portfolio of content. Others binge watch Netflix, others prefer binge-watching your videos. ;)
2nd video I'm watching today that makes me realize that if I have not been able to truly take a step towards what I want or even figure it out, or even back up when it' happening is because deep down, I don't feel I deserve it or I'm worthy of it... Wow... Sadly mind blowing going into my forties... But I guess it's never too late but it's really hard to fight negative thoughts you've been feeding yourself with for so long... Thank you so much for this video and your channel in general. I'm binge watching from time to time. Wishing you success! Hi from France!
Loved this video so much. Am literally working on my business and the baby steps that I have taken so far towards achieving this is helping close the gap one step at a time. Thanks for this clarity!
I literally stumbled on your video. Really nice! It is not the same blah blah I find in some videos and I started to take notes. I guess I am looking for some inspiration as I am in a tough moment of my life where I have to start a new career from scratch due to the pandemic. It hasn't been easy and after months of looking for a job and I am doubting myself and my on skills. It's hard to even look for jobs as I feel like there is not point to even apply, as I'm not even getting the chance to show my potential in another line of work. I feel like I lost the joy to some simply stuff like exercise and when I do exercise, I am just not feeling motivated like I used to and stop. It's horrible. I'm trying to find my way back and go after what I brings my joy... be more productive and etc. But my current situation is taking a serious tool on me, specially in last couple of weeks. So thanks for the videos (I am now checking your other videos :) Take Care
This video was everything I needed right now, but I feel so conflicted. I know EXACTLY what I want like you said but then the self doubt and fear of judgment seeps in and like that again I'm left "confused". When really the truth is I don't truly feel I can get where I want to be. Thank you so much for this!!
Thank you for sharing 🙏 these questions are a great place to start . I'm experiencing all these feelings at this point in my life. I am going to start asking myself this weekend.
I'm trying to improve myself but sometimes the people who are important to me only sees my disability and then I feel I'm not good enough but I know I'm unique and enough 😊😄
Thanks for your video. I’m feeling stuck in my career and just not making enough to do the things I want to do. Definitely going to get a journal and write down your questions and answer them truthfully. Thank you
Ive been needing to hear something like this to help me out on what I want to do with my life. I was really having a bad day thinking that I'm going to be stuck in the life that I am currently doing which I'm not enjoying. Im currently working a full time and part time job doing 11-12 hour days and not having time to have free time to be able to do things that I enjoy or time to be able to work on creating my own business, and I feel burned out and stuck in a rut, and as much as I am thankful that the money from these jobs that I am working has provided me in buying my first home, I'm still not finding happiness and fullfillment in what I am doing. So I done the gap task which has helped me figure out what I really want to do so I can live my Ideal day. I also believe in the meaning of numbers, and I was the 444 person to like this video and the meaning of 444 is a number of protection and encouragement. It is a sign that you are currently following the right path. It is also a sign to stop worrying. I love your videos Erin they help a lot.
Great video, thank you!! Completely separate topic and would 100% understand if you didn't want to share but I would love to hear about your experience with botox, I'm 30 and am looking into getting it but yours looks fab and I'm curious to know how you've found the process, the up keep etc (I may have missed this in another video so apologies if so!) Thanks :) xx
Hey! So I go for Dysport and a very small dosages! I only spoke about it in a night routine but I think that was like a year ago! Feel free to message me on IG lovely! I am totally happy to share! ❤️
