You forgot to mention for people to include department of treasury on the send address included with the address provided. It says make it out to department if treasury Internal revenue servic Address they provided. This could mess a lot of people up. Gotta get this comment to the top so he correct it guys.

Love that the IRS provides extensions to 10/15. lots of our clients still don’t seem to understand that so long as they are in a refund position, there is absolutely nothing wrong with filing a 4868 and completing the return after 4/15.

Awesome video. You didn’t mention the TO: DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY, IRS SERVICE CENTER. THEN, you add the address as stated on the form by your state.

Upon reading the form 4868, it says that it does not EXTEND what you owe. Very important. Yes, you will have until August 15 to file your taxes, but between July 15th and August 15th, you will incur interest each and every month at the rate of 5% per month. It doesn't release your from your obligation to pay by July 15th deadline what you owe, unless you don't mind being socked with interest/penalties.

On unemployment etc....was changing career then the pandemic. So 57...no retirement etc....do jll be doing stocks soon love that info. So this info is great......I'm doing it now. Kerp the stock for beginners. Unemployment stimulous. I'm looking for a good job. Amen

Great Video with Super Simple instructions for those who need it. I like you hint to watch your video early, not after the fact. Strange though, wouldn’t it make more sense for the IRS to have these requests sent to closest centers. Maybe Illinois to Missouri as oppose to Illinois to California🤔

Do you just use the same PO Box when you are not sending a payment or do you just send it to the city and state listed and just hope they find it? haha Or do we use the same PO Box and change update the city and state for the non-payment address?
