Here's an easy to follow tutorial on How To Filet Crappie With you Electric Filet Knife! I'll be demonstrating exactly how to take your catch from fresh out the water, to ready for the frying pan!
Very informative video! It’s crazy how you sound exactly like my papaw when he taught me how to use the electric knife. I’m gonna use this video to show others how I use the bubba. Awesome tutorial!!
Great video! I do the same thing. A lot of people cut to whole thing off at the tail but I like to leave it attached to the fish like you do, because it gives you something to hold onto
Same thing for me. This dismissed the rumors and what not around electric knives I've heard over the years. Btw congratulations on being in the 100k Sub Club Ken!
Hey I was telling my wife awhile ago about how I don't think I would a electric knife. But watching this video of yours, made me think I might try it. I think I can work with it. I will get back to you after I try it, thanks for video.
Hello fishing Ken, my wife always ask if you and pop put something out. Good to see you. She was move when you blessed use with those heee haw crappies on lake Arlington peer😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍🐟🐟💯🕺🕺
I have Bubba too but prefer the optional thicker blade rather than the skinny blade. Have you experimented with all of the four blades that come with the knife? You might be surprised.
Hey Ken, what do you have in your Aquarium now? My 8 Crappie have grown from 2" to 5 or 7" and the 7 Bluegill have grown from 2 to 3" to 6 or 8". It's been 2 years since I've had them. Not sure if you remember seeing them on Facebook but I have several of the Gold Crappie.
I bleed the bigger fish i keep to eat. Striper, walleye, and cats all seem to taste better when bled out and put on ice. I never have bled the crappie and gills. Judging by how clean they were to fillet, and how white the meat was, it looks like you bled them out? Just curious if you do.
So in the summer I usually put my fish directly into a slurry. Ice water mix. They come out a little slimy but there is almost no blood when you clean them
AND……If you will add 2 more cuts and get that red line out, your fish will taste better and people will tell you that it doesn’t matter on crappie and bluegill but it does so you can be the judge 😊
