How to fill Jasper Table using Collection of data using Java?

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to fill a Jasper table by the collection of data using java code. I have explained everything steps by step by an example. I suggest you please watch the complete video for better understanding. Also, I have given the download link of java project that I used in this example.

Note: To create jasper template please follow the instruction shown in the tutorial.

A Well Made Tutorial. Thanks a lot. I encountered an error though but fixed it, i wasn't including the last library you mentioned in the description, but after i realized and included it,my issue was fixed on netbeans 11.3 with jdk 13. built, can you guide me on how to print the report from a pos printer without saving it to pdf? To other users that may have the same issue: On "Main Report", there are few icons on the top right of the screen. All you have to do to get your .jasper file is compile your report by clicking on the icon that has a page and "010" in the front.

It works for me using Jasper soft studio 6.XX and the mentioned jars in description box. Also I can use Bangla fonts properly. So if anyone of you guys have any problem using bangla font, feel free to knock me

Please can you explain me how to add jar files? JRException or JR and some classes not work, i think thats cause problem.

For this issue you go to your eclipse, package explorer, in your project, referece libraries. From there you click on the jar files(they will appear to have errors) and in the opened window you select the jar file in your computer. You have to download the jars first, just type the jar filenames in google with same version and everything and download.

try latest version of jaspersoft ide (where "parameters" and some other sections are different in jasper report editor) and download exactly those jar files with given version then attach the jar files to eclipse project

some times solution can be front of our eyes. You should write the repeated list in white area -data area- not blue/header area. like exactly in this tutorial.

Crystal Report was not suitable for the cloud environment, and XMReport has a HTML5 based designed, and have no restriction to the data source, it has a simpler data model and is much more easier to be integrated, you can even build your first template within 30 mins!
