Y’all I want to tell you my favorite shortcut. Every time I see people duplicating or copy/paste I’m over here waiving my hand saying but wait…there’s a better way! 😂 On the Mac, simply hold down the option key then click and drag the item you want to copy and voila! A copy right where you want it! I think on Windows it’s the Alt key but I’m not 100% sure but you can do this on Windows too.
This is the best video that I’ve seen a person teaching us how to do this on step by step and I found this amazing thank you so much for sharing this and taking your time to share this- great things happen for you ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
I love how this was explained. The manipulation of the png files before adding to design space was soo smart. I would’ve sliced them. Thank you Lauren and team! ❤
I was using laser print transparency film instead of inkjet (happened to have a pack left over from making face guards for NHS during lockdown) just a messy black puddle! Also the pack I bought here in UK, actually says, 'the best way to see if you have the correct print side is to breathe on it, it only fogs up on the wrong side', how easy is that! Hope that helps everyone who is struggling trying to feel it and get finger[prints all the print side😂
I always lay my clear mat protector over my print then cut image before I squeegee it down. That way if the ink is still a little wet it won't smear it!
I love the idea of doing this in different shapes. I have a tutorial on my channel of doing this inside a heart. No clue why I never thought to put it in something else! LOVE the snowman! Great work!
Loved it! Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something to enrich my cricut experience. Thank you for sharing your talents and knowledge with us.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I started a project using the snowman and I did everything separately. Ugh, took me hours so thank you for the giving me shortcuts!
I love this project and the instructions are so well presented-thank you for sharing this idea! I can’t wait to gift these snowmen! I was concerned having the inked side of the snowman transparency on the outside of the ornament would, with time, scratch or smudge when handled, so I printed mine in mirror image and flipped the snowman over so the ink side lays against the card stock instead of facing up. Have to be careful not to touch the ink with the glue, though, or it will start to bleed-only dot the glue on the clear areas of the transparency.
when you put your transparency paper on the mat, which corner has the rounded edge? I"m not sure I printed on the correct side. Thanks! Yes, I feed mine from the rear tray, also
I was able to print a couple of these and they worked out okay. My offset didn't seem to totally match up with my snowman shape. Maybe the mylar slipped on my mat? Now my Cricut is cutting the mylar print in totally the wrong place, not within the registration lines but to the far left of the mylar sheet. Any ideas as to why?! Thanks.
happened to me, but think you don't weld 1st, I went back few times and then it was fine. My issue is I can't print on the acrylic sheet, its just an inky mess? Anyone can help me?
Again cant make the things i truly want to make because I don't have a printer i got to buy everything the maker the mini press the claim press all kinds of sample vinyl but then the inflation happen and boom i cant seem to get a printer
