Hi Fatou, nice vid. Some questions though. Do you use a clip from your "horizontal" footage for the shorts or re-shoot it vertically? And are the other platforms shot horizontally or vertically? This is all new to me. Thanks and the chicken looks great. Oh, and what program do you edit with? thanks
@@suecook8379 Hi. Thank you for your feedback. In my case I always shoot horizontally because RU-vid is my primary platform. For shorts, I simply cut clips from the original videos and change the ratio to fit the shorts format. As for editing, I personally use the InShot app. You can easily convert a horizontal video into a vertical one for Shorts, Reels or TikToks in the app. And it’s easy to use for beginners. I hope that helps.
It is not a must. The ring light also serves as a tripod. An extra tripod is only needed if you want to be more productive or shoot in different angles . That way you’re not adjusting your ring light too often when using it as a tripod. (The height is adjustable on the ring light). In my case, I already had a small tripod for pictures before starting my RU-vid channel. So I didn’t specifically purchase one for RU-vid. So for a beginner on a budget, I suggest getting a ring light instead. Just make sure it is extendable. Because some aren’t. Let me know if I answered your question
