Oh yeah and makes life so much easier. Hauling in water for 2.5 miles and taking 2+ hours to get to the water station and back… this has saved so much time and energy. Plus my water tastes better and I’ve noticed a increase in energy levels.

you should have put pipe unions between the two filters so you can easily take it apart and line stuff up .

Yes and probably a pressure gage and shut off valve between the filter and water supply… Many improvements can be made

Great idea! I thought I was getting uv proof filter housings but I was wrong. I was thinking to just grab some paint next time I’m in town but might look into a foil wrap for extra light insulation.

I'd use it for bathing. I'd still boil any drinking water first just to be safer.

Nice design but your last filter is only half full of water because it's laying flat and will trap air in the top allowing bacteria to grow, I would change your design so your last filter turns straight up so the air is being forced out going up and then you know ALL the air is out and no bacteria can form INSIDE the filter.

Most reverse osmosis systems have filters sitting on top of the micron filters that are horizontal in direction. I don’t think air can get trapped in a pressurized system. That is like saying all pipes need to be vertical because if they are horizontal they won’t fill all the way…

The black pipe looks like steel gas pipe, if so it will rust and eventually leak. Brass or pvc would be better.

I didn't see the pump, but it sounded like a diaphragm pump to me. Is that what you are using?

Yes just a simple diaphragm 12v 15 amp DC pump

Thank you for the continued support! This video took a bit longer to get out. Hopefully I’ll have all the wood cut for the outdoor kitchen soon and then can get that project done. That will be a exciting video for me to upload.
