I totally agree about the importance of a good website-poorly maintained websites turned me off from many places. Breeders, make sure you’re showing great photos and good information!

I have a Staffordshire bull terrier and the mother stopped feeding them so the vet told the breeder to re home them as it be best for the puppies so I had my dog from 6 n half weeks old and I still have my dog she is now 8 yrs old and healthy she has had no health problems she never has shown any aggression and has always been playful and still is so everything your saying it not exactly true on what you have said.

How did you potty train your puppy at night? Did you set an alarm or did you let the puppy 'lead' you out of bed? 2. I am fortunate that I can pick my puppy up in two weeks. It is a male aswell, like Archie and Augustus. Did you have them castrate? Why yes or no? 3. There are different puppy courses. Some train with a clicker, other with your voice. I found a place in a minute nd I trust that place a lot because they have Instagram, facebook, tik tok, and I can just facetime them in whatsapp and I cure a website with all this things must have real puppies and I don't thin is a scam.

In addition to some of your advice on deciding on a breeder before I put a deposit on the puppy I am getting 5 days and counting LOL is if they don't have their contract listed at their website is I asked them to send me their contract to read FIRST so I would know if I agreed to their terms they have for buying one of their puppies. If this is okay with you all the demands of some breeders that is certainly okay but for ME some of their contracts seem like they are renting their puppies instead of selling them as much control as they want to keep over the puppies after someone buys from them. I will give just one example. While I would be okay with a breeder demanding a puppy goes back to them IF someone doesn't have a family member or friend they trust that they want to leave their puppy to in the sad event they could no longer care for the puppy to make sure the puppy does not wind up in a rescue that would be acceptable to me, HOWEVER, for them to want to have the control over they get the puppy back instead of my choosing who I want to care for my puppy if something happened where I couldn't that is not acceptable to me. It's my puppy and if I have a family member or friend that loves and cares for their fur babies the same as I do then I have that option on who to leave mine to if I could no longer care for him or her! There are other examples I could give of the demands some breeders have that I do not agree with but that is one of them. Also, I agree with the AKC on ""Most veterinarians and breeders agree that 7-to-8 weeks of age is the prime time for a puppy to meet its new family." so if a breeder is doing all the things right with their dogs and puppies I would not turn down getting a puppy from them that they allow to go to new homes at 7 weeks but I would not get one that is any younger than that.

Oh my gosh! I am only 4 minutes into this video and I’m like YES!! I really want a cavapoo, but I was considering going with a goldendoodle because I found breeders I felt comfortable with, who have amazing websites that answered a lot of the questions I have. These cavapoo breeders have such HORRIBLY amateur websites OR, they’re only on Facebook, and don’t have a website at all. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Ugh!
