finding jobs in Germany is more challenging than I thought! I finished my Master's in automotive engineering since FEB 2023 and till today (a whole year) I couldn't find a job knowing that I have b1 German level
I agree, I am also seeing so many jobs available here. But getting to offer is not pretty easy. However I still see people getting jobs from India to here. So it's more of continuous attempting and at right time right things will in place. I wish you best of luck.
Finding job without the language is still okay. But after moving, if we don't learn the language that wouldn't be good for managing own life as well as being a resident of the country.
@@jegankennedy Exactly, Never understood this mentality if they themselves wont tolerate someone who do not speak Hindi in their own state, then how then can expect otherwise from others?
As far as I noticed in LinkedIn, it shows a lot of jobs. But I don't have first hand experience with this field, it's only based on research from LinkedIn and other sites.
Thank you, one more question. Is it okay for someone with 14+ years of IT experience to remove the initial one/two years of experience from the resume for job seeker's visa(Germany) or for finding a job in Germany, as I think 14+ years of experience is a senior level and may not have frequent openings for this level of experience. 1. Will the number of years of experience matter in Germany in terms of shortlisting the candidate's profile? 2. Will they look into the gap and question for it? Will it be an issue? Please suggest.
I think you can remove couple of yrs if you need to. Coming to your questions, 1) Yes, that's based on the role you're applying to. But if you're applying for technical/functional roles just reducing one or two yrs should not make a big difference. 2) Gaps are okay. You can even mention why there was a gap, employers don't question much on it. They only care if you have relevant experience and if you're able to convince them that you can do the job.
Hey Jegan Brother, I am seniour operations executive in a BPO industry with a 7 years experience. Same time completed my Business Management Degree as well. Currently I am following the A1 level also German Language. Is any possibility chances to get a job in the Management Industry ? I am researching these days but didn’t get a proper job in Management if you have an experience in this please let me know. Thanks for your kind reply.
Hi Bro, I noticed many finding project management jobs with PMP and similar certification background. But for your background, frankly I don't know much. However on searching in LinkedIn, I also couldn't find better matches for you. It's probably all the companies prefer to outsource such roles to India and other countries. But you can look for different related roles and explore if upskilling could help.
If we get job in other areas beyond our 5 year experience shown when jobseeker visa application, will it be possible to get work permit or blue card later?
Yes, usually it is possible if the new job comes under skilled labor category professions and meets the blue card salary criteria. But there can be surprises from the foreigner's office based on the city where you apply.
Please help me sir its been delayed formy graduation which I'm pursuing right now and jusya quick question is there any possibility to get a job on the basis of pursuing degree or 12 passed students i need your help bcoz o tried many consultancy.. no help .. please suggest ne something i just wanna vuilf my career. And i have huge work experience but due to my qualifications criteria i stuck please help me. And i will wait for your answer sir ... God will bless you .
If you have only 12th std qualification, then finding Apprenticeship i.e. 'Ausbildung' in German is the only option. But for that you need to have very fluent German language. Otherwise, for all other paths to Germany from outside countries, you need a degree.
Hello Jegan, I am planning to give German language exams this year till B1, already studying.. I am working as a SAP consultant in MNC, with 9 years of experience.. Is the market good? I am applying to all positions in LinkedIn based on my skill.. Is LinkedIn enough for job search?
Hi Manjusha, Yes LinkedIn & direct websites are the best ways to apply for the jobs. In my visibility, the demand is really good. But the hiring process is not so easy, eventhough there are many jobs, still many rejections happen. Its kind of irony. Still my personal opinion is it is possible to get a job but with struggle.
Yes, struggle is there, already got 30+ rejections... almost from all companies.. 🥲😅 I'll keep trying! Thankyou for replying! All your videos are good! 🔥👌🏼
Hi Jegan I have experience in Application Support Engineer L2 and L3. How I am able to get a job in Germany. Can you share your company name where I am able to apply.
If you're in student visa or family reunion visa you can easily get that job. Finding a warehouse job directly from abroad is not possible (at least as far as I know)
I have a master degree from Germany (bachelor from foreign country). After masters from Germany, I moved to an another EU country for work. Now I have a job offer from a German company and I need to apply for a work visa. Can i apply with my German degree? Does it matter if my past degree from abroad is comparable or not, since I have one german degree? I can't find a detailed explanation on this matter. Can someone tell me about this? thanks and have a nice day :)
Can a person who is currently doing their master's in Germany leave their master's midway, and look for FT Jobs in Germany (Based on their Bachelor's knowledge in home country). In that case will their student visa get converted?
I heard something like this is possible. But I have no clarity on this. I suggest you to check with some youtuber who has studied here and posting content. Or if you are already in Germany, then Auslanderbehorde is the best place to clarify.
Yes, from MS getting into job market is comparatively easier than searching from outside Germany. If your circumstances support doing MS, then it is good option too.
Hi, i got an offer letter for masters in engineering geoharzards in germany.i graduated in btech civil engg and 5 yrs exp in designing. Do i have a possibility to get a job after masters.
Hi, I don't know about the specific study. But usually it is possible for students to get into jobs with ease compared to candidates trying from abroad. All the best for your studies
Hi bro, I am an Electrical Engr from Pak, can you suggest which city or state should I come on job seeker visa? My skills are in Electrical testing and induction motor manufacturing industry.
Hi Bro, To be frank I do not have a direct answer for you. But as far as my theoretical research, it shows that Baden-Württemberg state is one good option. But as I am more on IT side, I have limited knowledge on your field. So I recommend you to do further research and also connect with other creators to get more clarity. Thanks.
There's a misinformation and confusion from many agencies. There's nothing about visa Sponsorship in Germany, unlike UK. Speaking it from Germany with the Informations from Immigration office. If you need to get spoon feed for visa application then you might need this agencies' help.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. True that agencies also have confusions & lack of information. As you rightly said, many agencies do the application support as well. But I fail understand your point about visa sponsorship. Do you mean there is no visa sponsorship available in Germany or do you mean agencies do not have knowledge about it?
It's little difficult to answer this wothout knowing city and your family status. In case if you have not watched then this video can answer your question: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rHrvQiq3VE4.html If not, message me in LinkedIn. Hi, Im an SAP consultant with 10 years of experience. I applied for job through stepstone and most of the time recruiters are asking for German language. How to get a job in germnay from India.
Hi, Yeah. That's a base problem all of us face. But in LinkedIn you can find jobs that sponsor visa without German. You might need to many go through the job descriptions to discover it
Hello sir, I'm planning to get my doctorate degree from Germany. Will it be easy to get a job over a pharmaceutical company or any other drug industry in Germany itself aft my PhD? Also is it mandatory to know german language to get a good job?
Hello Suvetha, Yes, it is possible to get a job. I think as part of your PhD curriculum you can work with a company for sometime. Based on that experience you can get a permanent job in the same company. This could be a easy route. German language will help you to progress in the job, but is not mandatory to find one.
Hello, thanks for the informative video. For a women planning to move to Germany after marriage, wo the 2+ years of IT expirence from a well known product based company in India. How difficult/easy it would be to get job in Germany ?
Hi Nitish, Of course, it's subjective based on your efforts and etc. But in general it's possible. I have seen many students have secured a job and continue their life here.
@@jegankennedy sir im glad that you replied! How can i connect with you so that i get some guidance regarding masters in Germany and lifestyle related doubts
Hello, Thank you for providing such a comprehensive video. Could you please advise whether it's possible to apply for a student visa if one hasn't secured employment after the Job Seeker Visa period?
Hi, While being in Germany with JSV, I don't think it's possible to apply for student visa. But I may be wrong, needs to checked with foreigners authorities here or at VFS in India.
Thank you for the information. Can you give an idea about salary at chain hotels like Marriott for positions like night auditor. Is there high demand for workers in German hotel industry ? Thank you.
Hii jegan ,j am having 1.8 year of experience as Salesforce developer and i am doing masters in germany and plus i am having b1 level german .please suggest me how should i approach and get the job in which i am having experience
Hi Akash, I suppose you could find a job relevant to your masters as well. But I would need to know more to share some tailored insights. If it's okay for me, please connect over LinkedIn. Let's discuss.
Wishing you and your family a very happy new year, Jegan! Also, rarely do people say in their channel that they are ready to help, and you are one of them. I am really blessed to watch your videos each and every time you post. Once again, thank you very much for working hard to provide such informative content and helping us whenever we need it.
Hii bro I came here with jsv I'm a mechanical engineer with over seven years of experience in automobile.. still don't know to find everyone asking German
Hi Jagadeesh, Currently I am not providing any such services. But if I am free sometime in coming weeks, I can try. You can reach out to me - talktojegan@gmail.com -. We can discuss.
@@connieguiao7285 Yes, definitely there are such jobs. But job seeker visa can not be used for it. Somehow you should be already present in Germany to work in such jobs.
It is hard to answer this question with a direct info, since some roles are not one to one comparison between India and Germany. To find a solid answer, my approach would be to know your profile and search in LinkedIn with the skills to find relevant matching roles. Based on the numbers, we can conclude about the opportunities.
Thanks Abhishek. Wish you a happy new year as well. talktojegan@gmail.com is my email id. You can send an invite to my mail id for a 30 - 45 mins meeting over the weekend. I am usually free in afternoons 14:30 to 18:30 both Sat and Sun. If you want to connect before that, then pls connect over LinkedIn, let's align.
Hi Jegan, Is it mandatory to fly to Germany once we have JSV stamped? What rules apply? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I plan to take the German JSV interview(scheduled for next week), submit my passport and continue applying for jobs from India, once I get some positive responses and get calls for further interview rounds, I would quit from the current employer and travel to Germany on JSV. I'm afraid to quit the current job and land in Germany without having any interview calls. Please add your suggestion.
Hi MK, It is not mandatory to travel immediately. I noticed few other job seekers are also doing the same way as you planned. Though it has a slight edge, the real benefit of JSV (being in Germany) is not used in your option. It's also possible that employers would treat applications that from Germany and from outside Germany differently. To conclude, of course, you can do it. But if you already got couple of interviews in past then it's worth taking a risk too. Please think based on your circumstances.
I might sound simple, but you can find this from that company's profile in LinkedIn. Usually company write about their services. Also, from their website if they have one. But if they are man power companies like Randstad or Hays, then they deploy you in client's place but with their own payroll. So similar companies can be identified as manpower companies. Not sure, if I answered your question. If not, let's discuss further.
Hi, For Ireland I don't have a direct answer. Usually, it should be possible, if the company is ready to wait. You can look up the different types of visa and their application process. Based on the we can conclude. If I find something concrete, then I will write here.
Hi Shawn, As far as I observed, minimum experience needed for visa sponsorship jobs is 3 years experience. So based on that, I would say it is better that you gain couple of years of experience more and meanwhile, you can learn German until B1 (if you are interested to find a job in Germany) and then applying will make your application stand out. Hope this helps.
Thank you Jegan for taking time for collecting all this information and making it understandable for us. It will be great if we can connect together sometime to discuss few things. Kindly let me know yout prefered time. Thanks in advance,
Hi Clinton, Thanks for your kind feedback. I am usually free during weekend afternoons for meetings. If you want to connect before that, let us align. talktojegan@gmail.com is my email id. Let us connect.
