I spat my drink out when you said the fire chief asked you not to light any fires, he knows you’re not safe with fires, and again when you started doing the voices. No drinking for me in future whilst watching the videos. My heart was in my mouth watching Tex watching Jolene. I really hope they all settle down and accept her as part of the family.
I remember when Pearl was a tiny and skinny newborn, now she's a mom herself. Thank you for letting us witness all these miraculous and heartwarming moments at the Sanctuary.
Jolene is just a beautiful girl! I’m 63 and STILL trying to lose “baby fat” from 1983!! 🤣🍼🤣 I’m so glad that a few days’ separation has helped. Lester, PLEASE DON’T STOP THE VOICES!! I love the voices. Thank you for doing them! Prayers and Blessings always
So I have been fighting to lose weight for 20 years from my first pregnancy. I started to lose weight recently just to get pregnant with my 2nd baby. 20 years apart from my son. I am having a girl. Finally after 18 years of trying to get pregnant I am pregnant now. Btw.... I was born in 1983. Lol.
@@snowydragons4281 Congratulations! What month in 1983? My daughter, my last, was born March 22, 1983. I’m sorry to be nosy, but when I read your post, I got cold chills. (It’s 93 degrees in Indiana)
I love how casually you mentioned that the fire chief asked you not to make any more fire's 🤣🤣 The Longhorn games of hide and seek are always so funny!!!
So pleased Pearl is back with her family and introducing Jolene to them. Thanks Jolene for marking your territory on your uncle Lester absolutely hilarious great capture Lester. Well done Mr Huck for helping did a great job. Thanks 💕🙏🤠
The wrong teet alert had me 😆 🤣 😂... Happy you found baby Jolene and all is good... Tex is cracking me up too... Nice to see them back with the rest of the bigs... Hopefully she will be accepted by all... Jolene is one beautiful calf...
I love these videos! You can voice- over and film the Longhorns as much as you want! Just like the puppies, can't get enough. So glad Mr Huck and the goats are doing well !
I actually love your voice overs. Sometimes they are so accurate from the animal’s body language. Tex does look very perplexed by Joleen. Looks like all is going to be well with the new baby.
Thanks for cracking me up, Lester!!! And may I say those are magnificent looking creatures. And we're with you and Jami 100 percent. The longhorns really seem like such a natural fit there. Thank you. Remember -- we longtime original subscribers are in it for the long haul. Longhorns for the Longhaul!!! Yeah, something like that!!
I almost spit .y coffee out when you said the fire Chief said not to start a fire he wanted to do some education/new employees on how to control a fire. Maybe he was also hinting you could sign up as a guest on how to do a control fire.😁🤣
I loved this video Lester. I could watch the Long Horns all day. It is so interesting seeing the interaction between all of them. Joleen looks great and I think putting Pearl and her back with the family was a good call. The 3 days in the goat pasture was necessary also. I think you are VERY in tune with your animals Lester.
Oh my goodness like you said, Tex just could not stop looking at that little Calf. It was so funny just watch him standing there trying to figure out what the heck was happening, and where it came from. 😂😅🤣🇨🇦
All I could think about watching Tex stare at his daughter Pearl with a baby is Tex wondering how is this possible? I never allowed her on a date or have a boyfriend ??? Hahaha
Gracie learned from the best how to hide a calf. Little Jolene thought that your croc needed baptizing apparently and did a good job. I think that poor Tex is just dazed and confused by all the momma drama and the appearance of another calf. I just realized that he has my apartment number branded on his hind quarters. It looks like everyone is learning to accept the situation and I think that Jolene will find herself as one of the Longhorn group now.
OMG! Brings back memories Pig Trudy & baby goats on Daddy's lap going for a ride 😂🤣 Good job Huck you're like a bounty hunter.Pearl is telling Jolene grandpa is salty it takes a while to get used to him 😸
Pearl is a good mom. Rick always talks about how a mom will get between the colt and the other horses. I have seen Pearl do that several times. That baby is going to be fine.
It’s really interesting to watch you look for the signs when looking for the babies. She’s looking really good and Tex was fascinated with her. So sweet.
Good job Huckey! You led daddy right to that baby Jolene. I'm glad to see that Santiana isn't trying to take her away from Pearl now. Seems like all is well at LHL's.
I still can't get over how adorable Joleen is! 🥰 You can tell just how much Pearl trusts you. I'm so relieved that the reintroduction went well. The moment between Tex and Joleen was the cutest! 💜
Love how smart Pearl was on hiding Jolene and then Huck letting you know he found her. Tex couldn't take his eyes off of Jolene. Maybe he's thinking grow up quicy pretty little girl. He's going to love her.
I love that Huck was the baby finder! He was hollering for you! Pearl is as good as Santianna running you around looking for her baby! 😂 Crazy that a stark white calf can escape the eyes though. She's brighter white than Pearl has ever been. Joleen is beautiful! She got to sit on your lap and ride on the 4 wheeler! No other longhorn has done that! She tinkled on you and we all laughed about that! 😂 She's claimed you that way. 😂😂 Santianna sniffing right up at the camera was crazy! I thought it was Pearl at first until she stepped back and I saw the length of horns. Wow! All the longhorns have actually kinda gotten closer to you guys since being at LHL. Tex is calmer and the other longhorns feel that too. Great video Lester! The voice overs are great! You have Tex's voice just as we imagine it! 😂 😂 ♥️❤️💗💓💘💖💝💕💞💌❣️
Lester, you’re so wonderful, thanks for the animal psychology lesson. You played it out for the sake of the family. Which makes me so sad for animals without you.
I’m sorry Lester, I meant all in the rest of the world where you can’t be. I’m amazed at the man you are! Mom told me stories from her farm days in 1940s and I’m sure today
I love the idea of a book but even better a cartoon movie, Disney or whatever would be so cute with all these Longhorn babies, cows & Tex. Lester you must be Tex's voiceover. How funny to hear your clever input on what they're thinking!
I think a children's book about the Longhorns would be awesome. Santana first baby being Billy's and then came Texs first born daughter Pearl ect.... it would be awesome 👌.....😊🥰❤
IT looks like an Ant Hill where the sand is lifted up. Ants do that. This was such a beautiful video I love how all the Long Horns came and checked out Jolene. So Cute.
As another said, LOVED THE VOICES! Honestly, I could have watched and listened for hours Lester!!! What an AMAZINGLY INTERESTING situation with the latest addition... Joleen! She has shaken up the family for sure. Yoh made a perfect decision by taking Pearl and Joleen into goats area to bond! I'm so impressed with that decision and the results! FANTASTIC!!! 🤗
The way Pearl was loving on Joleen by cleaning her and having her nurse in front of the family , was definitely showing them this Her baby . When Tex first took a step toward Pearl and baby , Pearl took a step back but still remained face to face with Tex with the baby by her side . It really shows just how much she bonded with the baby while she was in the other pasture and when Joleen tried to sniff at Santianna's utters , Pearl step in to get Joleen back with her . Pearl is showing she's going to be a good Mama . So sweet and still breath taking to watch this all unfold !
I love how Pearl was introducing Tex to Jolene. in my mind he was saying who is that? She was doing some splainin' about how she went away and hooked up and well dad, this is what came out of it! 🤘💕 priceless, thank you!
Hey Lester, Just what Pearl and Jolene needed, was that bonding time, glad you had another pasture, now the family is back together, Hooray!! Oh gosh,Jolene took a big flop there, looked as the chin and knees took that fall, poor baby, but i have to admit I laughed,it was funny and so unexpected, hope she's ok. Her markings are beautiful and she is so calm and so is Pearl, around you.I would never thought Pearl would let you do what you needed to do with jolene. That trust she has with you unbelievable but a good thing. Hope the herd is all still sweet to Jolene. Mr Huck seems to be eating and has energy, it may take time to put weight on,maybe his metabolism is different or maybe and I dont know, can goats be diabetic? Your property looks so good and the animals you have brought over are very different, to me,they appear so calm, more relaxed, like a mountain has been lifted off their shoulders. I know there was alot of sweat, blood and tears put into this, but you should be proud of what you have accomplish. If I ever get a chance to put up a fence,I know who to contact to dig my holes and put my fence post up. Just kidding lol. I seriously do not know how you did it,that was alot of manuel work. Thank you for the update and y'all have a great evening.
Oh bless you Lester. The baby was just chilling and huck led the way. That sand could of came from Flood or and ant hill. Keep us informed about the longhorns and of the vet visit today. I wait every day to see you and Jami's videos. Love all the old and new babies.
I love watching them, Lester. I find it quite fascinating, plus it helps to have an extremely cute baby in the group. I love Joleen💕 she’s got a beautiful face and markings. Your voiceovers give a lot of personality to the longhorn family. I am always anxious for the next one whether it’s longhorns, puppies, goats or fences. 🙏❤️
Wonderful to see Pearl and Jolene back with the family and all seem so curious of the new one! Went well and love your voice overs, it fits exactly what they are doing too!! Jolene isn’t afraid she just wants to see who the Big one is!! Great job Huck in finding Jolene, it will be cute to see Santoro and Jolene become playmates!!❤️❤️
Goodness, Lester. I'm so glad to see Pearl and her baby back with the herd and seemingly doing OK. As this video ends, I'm still not sure Tex and Santiana will accept Jolene. Pearl sure has bonded with Jolene and seems to be getting the hang of motherhood. I was worried all day because this video came out late. Oh, and like others who have commented, I enjoy your voice overs. They give context to what is happening and is especially helpful for those of us who know zip about cows and their behaviors toward their young. It's quite different from what I know with mares and their foals. Most mares would pin their ears flat back and put themselves between their foals and other mares or animals. Most mares do not play when it comes to the safety of their foals.
She is absolutely sweet. She lets you love her!!! I love Joleen! I love how moo and really loves Annabelle too… and Annabelle loves moi. It makes my heart full with joy. Moo found his child to bring up in life. He is so funny… he teaches her to not head butt by head butting her… and she has curtailed it. You and the family and family of animals are just such a blessing.❤️keep you the great work. God bless.
I love how Tex just stood there like a statue…he didn’t seem to know what to do. Hah. Also, Santiana and Pearl look so similar it’s no wonder the baby got confused. Your voiceovers of what they’re thinking is pretty spot on. I’m glad everyone is doing well.
Oh. The sandy area looks like fireant or something.... like what Ive seen after rains when they come up and make extra lil mounds, fixing their trails underneath. I'm curious what it is though.
I love when you talk for the animals. Makes me laugh 😂 and love your song and dance at the gate. Laughter is a huge part of survival in this wicked world. 🥰
That mound of sand in the woods, could it be the turtles nesting area to lay their eggs? This is the time of year that river/fresh water turtles lay their eggs. The eggs hatch in 72 days, usually in late August through early September.
