I think you got plenty more subscribers coming mate. I too have to keep the missus happy, and quite rightly so, but I know when I’m not camping I’m always planning the next one!
Great little video mate and handy to know as I got a feeling at some point my dog is gonna end puncturing mine haha plus so much better than filling up the bath . 👍🏻
I got a puncture while on a trip. Found it by listening to the air leak. Took me a while of reflating over and over. I used a bicycle puncture repair kit to fix (I was bike touring). It seems to have worked.
Top video, I can see this a feature topic “when things wrong” I’ll be staying tuned 😃 what make is your jacket? Looks light weight and warm, I’m inspired to go hiking !
A really useful video, thankyou! And good to know your channel is taking off, deservedly so! Ir's almist 4 am here in NZ and we have a gale blowing, keeping me awake so this was a perfecr video to tale my mind off it!
Toby looks away & thinks, always the same, blaming someone else 🤣 Good video. When did you record this - yesterday afternoon I was over on Cadair Fawr & was looking over towards that spot. How long do you anticipate it taking you to do the Beacons Way? atb Al
Hello Alan, this was yesterday. I saw your Cadair Fawr post on IG. Has someone painted the trig point there? I'm hoping to do it in 5 days, but will be taking Toby into consideration on the miles we do.
Hi Ryan ,@@wildaboutwales I was trying to find an old image of the trig but ye it's been painted. I would think that must the shortest camp possible from your home? I was wondering if you would be taking Toby and obviously the distance & equipment x2, plus his age. 5 days seems like a very decent mileage each day then - as you are pretty close to home for pick ups though I would think if you had to bale with Toby . Hope you get some decent weather for it. atb Al
@@thevalleywalker yes, Moel Penderyn is a short walk from the house, it's so close, it would feel like I'm cheating if I camped up there. I've camped up Cadair Fawr a couple of times, I love that spot. Yes, fingers crossed we'll get some decent weather soon.
Field type or field expedient repair - yes. Long term pro type shop or home solution - no. Reasonable temporary... however... not to be confused with more optimal repair methods.
Yes, it's more of a temporary repair than a long term repair, I suppose. I've had a good year of wear and tear out of the other mattress with this repair though, it's lasted surprisingly well.
@@wildaboutwales I've just purchased my first air bed so this is good to know. Old age and poor health has crept on me and I can no longer lay on the ground. lol. I had the worst two nights under my tarp last weekend and said never again.
