My experience is if they get near a tame they get scared. That’s why the ghillie is useful. If you’re high up enough you might be able to see them before they take off but if you’re flying in the trees and they spook, you probably won’t even know.

No worries. Yes, as of right now sinos can only be tamed on lost island. But, once tamed you can transfer them to other maps.

@@stephentrujillo7555 no problem. You can upload them from drops or the obelisks. Easiest way is to make cryopods and upload them as items. If you’re on official servers just be careful of the timer. Things only stay uploaded for 24 hours then they’ll disappear.

It is definitely possible to tame without ghillie. It’s just much harder and they’re more likely to spook and freak out. I tamed my first few wearing hide then got the ghillie from the Christmas drops.

If they attack you usually they’ll fly away and won’t come back. Once it’s chill you could attempt to tame it. Ghillie is just the easiest method I’ve found.

The only reason taming should restart is if it takes damage.

@@MysticKorea not that I'm aware of the taming bar just loses progress slowly

@@mkjeuring it could be that it’s ready to eat and your not feeding it. That would be my next guess. Is it coming up to you or just constantly flying away?

@@MysticKorea both but I think the server setting have it so dinosaurs lose hunger way too fast for it cause by the time I fed it its second chitin its hunger is at half level

Sinos won’t be on Fjordur. They’re exclusive to Lost Island. Fjordur will have its own unique creatures.

@@MysticKorea um i hate to be the one to inform you they are on it cause after i ask that question. (never fails if u ask a question looking for answers, you might get your own answer and i did.) they are on it cause as i just did the first tame gave it chitin i was attacked by a Allo, then i lost sight of it do to the allo knocked me off down a water fall. So they are on it just spread thin as hell. i was hoping i get a location where they might be more of a population. Thanks for the the Reply.

@@Viscera1969 sorry Viscera but I don’t think they are. Sinos were released as a part of Lost Island. Fjordur has not been updated since it was announced to be an official map and won’t officially be released until later this year. Wildcard will also probably not include sinos on Fjordur because they are a creature for Lost Island specifically. If you are seeing sinos on Fjordur they may be part of a mod you have installed. If you are playing on a server that uses S+ you can use tek transmitters to do a dino scan which can also show you the location of creatures.

@@MysticKorea i am on a server and it does have S+ ill use that once i unlock it if i havent already cant recall. But i reinsure you they are on this Fjordur or server either way its on this one. Thanks again for reply i Appreciate it.

@@Viscera1969 you are welcome. I hope you can understand my point that they won’t be included in the official release of Fjordur. That’s why I’m pretty much 100% certain it’s a part of a mod on your server. I just finished doing a 100 days on Fjordur video and I’m confident they’re not naturally a part of the map. But that being said, having sinos on Fjordur would be amazing. I definitely missed having them when I did my play through 😂

I’ve had that happen to me too. I have a few theories. I had to put up turrets near my base because they naturally attack creatures sometimes, so that’s definitely just part of it. Are they attacking you when you have chitin in your inventory and ghillie on? Ghillie should help prevent aggro. I can’t remember them attacking me when I had a full set of ghillie on.

They only attack if you're wearing chitin armor

Um excuse me 🤨 One, it may be single player but I did not use any cheats lol. Two, once you tame a sino you can easily fly around using that sino. I did not force tame, fly, or use any other cheat you think I did in this video. All you need is ghillie and chitin and they are a super easy tame. I play in single player for a few reasons, including the fact the world stops when you log out, you can adjust the rates to suit what you need, and you don’t have to worry about getting trolled in either pvp or pve which would make recording videos extremely difficult. So rather than accusing people of cheating because they play in single player, consider the facts. Have a great day 😊
