Information in constantly revised. Even science, good science at least, is in a constant state of flux and evolution. It's not about truth, it's about closer to the truth. And more often, pointing toward a truth, or phenomenom, in which a perceiver can interpret the data for themselves.
So in other words we are mindless idiots who will by some accident accept something as immediate truth. Information is not problematic if it is wrong. What is problematic is when we as a people are so dumb that we cannot discern for ourselves what may be true or false, through substantial evidence
But we are all influenced by big industry lobbies. I think this video is putting way too much emphasis on personal responsibility. Also, are they attacking students? Basically this is everyone except professional fact checkers.
