Hiking to the base of the spectacular Cowley Falls in Far North Queensland. An extremely difficult hike to the base with no made trail and some dangerously steep sections but well worth the effort if you're able.
Looks incredible. And I'm annoyed because I live right near there and would love to do this and love hiking but know how easy it is to get lost in that rainforest. Parks and wildlife let's a lot of the trails up here go to crap and I'm annoyed they've let this one go completely. Great work getting down there!
Yeah I realised I misspoke saying Russell River though seems I may have mixed up my South and North Johnstones still. And yeah I did hear about crocs being in there, was a bit nervous about the circuit walk for that reason though became a non issue given far too much water to even think about attempting it.
@@caedencekuepper yeah there is one spot that has high and steep sides along a deep pool. Last time we went along there we ended up going through the bush because of high water.
