OMG YES TYSMMM. I been needing to find a free open place to skate on smooth floor. I am always jealous of you cuz you have the open space that you use to film your videos. Not only is it open, but it is also smooth and has a roof
oh no! I'm truly sorry to hear about your knee injury. It's always tough to be laid up, especially when it's due to doing something you love Please take all the time you need to rest and heal. Wishing you a speedy and smooth recovery! 🛼💕🛌
@@DasiaDoesIt tysm I’ll try, I was so inspired by your skating videos so much I was able to finally do it so I definitely don’t regret skating cause when I learned it was so much fun thank you again :)
Even though I'm watching tutorials about skating, I relate to your safety tips as a solo hiker. I absolutely use similar tips when I'm exploring the trails by myself. I appreciate you for encouraging women to solo skate and be awareness of the environment and folks in it. Thank you so much! 💜💜
Im praying. PRAYING that for Christmas i get a pair of skates.i want to be just like this chick. And also, you're an inspiring black lady for me because im the only black person in my household ❤ (tho my parents help me try to understand my culture)
i stopped practicing at my local rink when a girl decided she wanted to start literally skating circles around me :') the rest of the rink was empty save for her two friends
Love how you mentioned the kitchen. I just ordered my first skates. There is a little skate park nearby where I could practise, but I'd like to feel a comfortable standing on my skates before going out in public. I was thinking of rolling back and forth in my kitchen but felt so silly about it. Now I have the approval of the legendary Dasia, I think I'll give it a try!
I love your content! I cannot wait to use what I learned from you on my skating journey. I'm a little older at 41, but I'm itching to just get out there and do it. I just received my first pair of Impala skates as an anniversary gift and am so excited! I look forward to your next post. Thank you so much for being an inspiration 😊
I am so in love with your vibe and your energy! I am a fresh newbie…haven’t skated since 1980s as a teenager….this is so scary and exciting simultaneously 😂 Thanks so much for your realistic and fun videos. ….especially how to Fall correctly.
Thank god for living in an older building, and on the first floor, I have a nice open lobby. I used to play there as a kid on my bike when it was too cold for outside. Glad to know that soon enough I'll be busting moves in that lobby with my security camera right in sight and my apartment a few steps away. :D
Your videos are helping, and have helped me so u ha over the past few weeks. I started skating in February and I just started skating backwards at the rink because of your help with transitions! I appreciate your time, talents, and consistency beyond words. You’re helping to enjoy my joy 😊!
people watching me skate is the worst!! I don't mind falling in front of folks but when people are actively watching me skate...I hate it! I was skating in an empty spot in the park this weekend. This old guy walked past 4 to 5 empty benches to sit on the bench in front of me. He said, "I came to watch you practice" ughhh sir, please don't. watch from over here. Now I'm overly self conscious.
❤ I love this girl!!!! You are definitely the inspiration I needed. I got my first pair of Impala skates, and I truly appreciated the previous video where you talked skates on a budget. I live on O'ahu and I will keep my eye open for skate spots and I will let you know!!!!
It’s gets really cold here in st St. Louis in the winter and the indoor rinks are in the hood or have very weird hours that I can’t make. I would 100% go to the hood but I don’t know anybody there anymore lol that was in my younger days. I can’t wait for the spring I’m definitely gonna try these steps.
