Such a real experience shared. I am married. 15 years of dating + 6 months of marriage. Major issue is my husband can't balance between me and MIL. Same story that wo ghar mera ghar ni ha jawab deti ha . From last two months, u was hiding things from my parents but luckily in may thy noticed and bought me back to mumma home. now there is something within me that know it cannot work and Now i feel i can leave everything behind but i cannot sacrifice my mental health. Still in a process where families are meeting to catch up again. But my heart says that God has given me last chances now to recreate my life again by moving out of this marriage. I still remember there was a time when i fighted for my partner with everyone my family my friends everyone. But now I don't know what happened surely that Torture is making me strong, but it's scary to go back and live a day with him now. Now i feel my love for that person was not worthy. Surprisingly hadn't cried even once for him till date.

@YoursTrulyRJDivya 27 дней назад
the truth of the broken marriage is that it might be not true for somebody else. the basic is that two people for whatever reason are unhappy..abuse can be one reason... but how they get back is important. padosi ke ghar kya hua.. aur humne kya kiya unke liye.. zaroori yeh hai! asha ji... har koi agar apni kahani suna skata aur doosra insaan sunn sakta toh na blames hotey an iss channel ki zaroorat hoti :) thank you

As someone born in India but living in the US for 13 years now, it’s it so crazy for me to hear you girls speak about your choices of living with in laws. I might have been conditioned by the US society, but just to think that an educated and independent girl in India still marries and starts living with their in-laws is such a crazy concept to me. I can never imagine how you guys do it. I could never do it even if I was in India. Girls- go get your own place for gods sake. And don’t marry men who still live with their parents. Also the concept that a girl is supposed to leave her family is crazy to me. Girls- please don’t leave your family and take care of your parents too.

Without wanting to shoot my mouth, I think partly by default and partly by design, we are gravitating towards a "western" model of nuclear family, where men n women will jointly build their homes (both work and both pitch in money). Couples will consciously NOT stay with in laws after marriage. When the main mahabharat is the battle between the sexes, who has the capacity to accommodate the dictat and demands of in-laws.

sending love...the family DNA differs but the core is that balance sometimes throws you off and in that whole which family to handle.. and the mountain expectations.. women lose themselves... tough but slowly asking why are we putting up with abuse...or inequal treatment... is changing much.

Another good one… I think the journey makes us more aware about ourself… where we acknowledge the feelings that we have within. Importantly we learn that none is perfect.

Marriages - increasingly post marriage- seem to show its true colours and see former lovers transform into bitter enemies, reducing women's very existence. If marriage is such a forbidding negative then these are better shunned by women. Why destroy your life in some stupid male's oppressing company. So women must save themselves from men because most are thoroughbred rascals and women are well and truly blameless holy nuns and always the legitimate, aggrieved party. But then ask the men - not the drunks and addicts - who would rue the day they married the woman who would raise devilish ruckus in their marital home, strip it off its dignity in full public glare and gleefully leave scorched earth behind, but if a marriage goes sour in their own maternal home, the very same woman will, very likely, and very easily pin the blame on the chests of their daughter/ sis/ in law. So what to do. No easy answer. Perhaps keep off each other completely if you can. Not a great bargain to get short-lived gratifications by totally investing yourself (if that indeed is true ) and then crying foul and making a royal mess of your life. But if can't behave, adjust, accommodate, then keep your boxing gloves handy and go for the painful rounds of the ring.

not all become enemies. the choice of how one carries the post marriage journey is very personal and very action and mutually driven,one size fits all doesnt happens with marriages falling apart.. and i think this much we have all seen... with relationships too.. why does long lasting relationships also suddenly end.. sometimes there is no answer to why.. but rather work on HOW... there are people who dont mess it up... there are some who do.. coz maybe they need to... let people choose their hard :)

please bring grey hair divorce people too. its incredibly hard when you find yourself on the verge of divorce after 30 years of marriage. Many speakers on your show say its hard to forget the life because its part of your life, but most of them are 1 year, 3 year, 5 year etc. but what about 25+ year, most of your life is gone

@@YoursTrulyRJDivya thank you for listening and bringing your guest. I have been married for 29 years and I am facing the decision to stay or leave due to some events. At this age you dont really know what you will do single having never envisioned that life. At the same time there is enough life left to not want to stay disrespectfully.

What to do with the marriages which were dragged for bloody 24 years, now it's a total waste and drab. A lady can't divorce because she doesn't earn and age does matter.. Can you please interview someone who is in their 40s and 50s, who are divorced or separated or still living their own lives under single roof?

I spoke to somebody recently and despite being from a very very influential background she cudnt leave that unhappy setup ! I know what you mean and I guess the pain of being stuck is more than the grief of a broken setup! Can’t match the two ever! The episode today is somebody divorced for 20 years and it might add another perspective
