John Dudley of Nock On Archery will teach you how to find and maintain your proper anchor point. Having a correct and consistent anchor point is critical to your archery accuracy. Too often, archers and bowhunters don't pay attention to this highly important detail and end up anchoring inconsistently, which leads to missed shots on their intended target. Dudley will also teach you a practice method that will help you master your anchor position every time you draw your bow.

Brandon, this is why I make sure I buy some of the products I use from his website. The amount of information I have gotten from John from the school of nock, and how well I have improved in archery because of it. All this information for free. I'm definitely going to remain a customer.

@@nicholasasaurusrex6155 same here man. I just wanted John to know how much he’s helping people with all that he puts out. I know I’m not the only here who has benefited from nock on. Keep slinging arrows man and best of luck.

@@nockonarcherytry as i may, i cannot get nose to string. I have a 34" hoyt spyder w/ anchor as described but the angle is way too steep to make it work. Do you see archers whose facial structure requires a bow w/ a less acute angle than others to ensure proper fit?

Thank you for the video. This video also proves that John looks reads the comments and makes videos from the comments. I asked for a video on how to adjust the shot trainer, John went above and beyond with including how to find a comfortable and proper anchor point. Thank you John for taking the time to make these videos.

Love the silverback too. I don't always use it. But as soon as I noticed myself getting jumpy with my thumb release, or not pulling back threw my shot. Or target panic, I always pull it out of my pocket immediately. That release is the best thing I've ever gotten to save me from myself, and making unnecessary mistakes.

I feel this too, like can a pro just watch me take one shot and give me a list of things to correct? Seems like something a guy could set up online 🤔 if he had the time..

I just ordered a nock on 2 release yesterday. I already had a shot trainer. My regular release anchor point & my thumb release is way off. I have a cheap release till yours comes in. My arm is messed up. Any suggestions on getting my anchor point to match my thumb release anchor point. Thanks

This may be a silly question but do you have a pro shop where I could purchase a new bow as well get set up? Looking for something I could shoot 3D tournament as well as possibly take to the field.

Thanks John your videos. Can you clarify that to have the arrow between lips and chin your index finger ( thumb release) can ride or rest on top of your jaw line. Having the jaw line on the V of your index and middle fingers brings the arrow down towards the jaw.

Thanks. I use your shot trainer all the time with my Nock 2 It and Silverback releases. How far from the end of the carbon do you fletch your arrows to help reduce facial contact with vanes?

Is it possible that face structure could effect this? I feel in order for me to achieve that arrow position my anchor has to be a lot higher than my jaw and closer to my ear. Also the string is no longer at the corner of my mouth in with that Arrow position. Does this mean myDL is to long?

@@kylebaylor4226 I would say if you can’t get that anchor to look exactly the way you want it, just make sure you practice it the same way every time. As long as it feels comfortable and you’re getting results, just keep on shooting😊
@nockonarchery

Hi Kyle - The key is to get the rear of your arrow and vanes in that safe clearance zone I speak of. Your nock should also come to the corner of your mouth when at full draw (see where mine is positioned). Too long of a draw length can definitely cause clearance issues so be sure to start there. Good luck!
