Paying for college is expensive for anyone, but sometimes it seems even more difficult if you are going back to college. It may feel like scholarships are only available for high school seniors, but I can assure you they are not. Hopefully this video has shown you a few places you can find scholarships specifically for non traditional students and also some ways to pay for college beyond just scholarships.
Looking for scholarships from your employer can be a huge benefit as well as the possibility of tuition reimbursement. Some companies are more generous than others, so it may be worth changing jobs in order to get a free college degree. Keep all of your options on the table.
And you still need to file the FAFSA if you haven't already. Grants are not restricted by age so there is more free money for college available if you qualify.
So take advantage of these scholarships to apply for as well as grants and tuition reimbursement opportunities!

Bro ur low-key a hater. If ppl wanna go back to school but aren't sure exactly why then they can start at the community College and actually try to take a class and talk to guidance counselors. They don't have to buy your book then end up doing that anyways because if people are itching to go to school because it will give them some sense of self fulfillment then that's an itch they need to scratch. And they can do that for free or affordable at a community College and counselors can help direct them how to get money for when they are ready to transfer.

Yeah I was so confused. I clicked the video because Im an adult working for the government and want to advance from where I am in procurement to higher up in contracting and they legit don't even care what the degree is as long as its in business. Because I make to much to qualify for any aid but still need help I was looking into scholarships. This was the least helpful video.

Appreciate your content! I’m hoping to start Douglas J Academy (in Michigan) in April 2023 to become a certified esthetician. I’ll be 37 ✨. Any advice on where I might find potential grants or scholarships? I’ve done some preliminary searches but coming up mostly empty… appreciate any feedback!

Definitely file the FAFSA to see if you qualify for any grants from the federal government. Then search for scholarships for adult students, or non-traditional students. Literally, just go to google and type in "scholarships for non traditional students" or "scholarships for adult student" and start there.

Is there any grants for non accredited schools. Trade school has no financial aid and I'm trying to avoid loans.

None that I know off hand, but there are scholarships that don’t have restrictions on how the money can be used, so you would be able to use one of those for trade schools. And some scholarships are specifically for trade schools.

Most adult schools do take aid and are at a lower cost. A lot of time the technical programs they offer don't come up on Google so you have to Google the adult schools in your area then look at their catalogs to see what technical programs they offer.
