this is incorrect sorry to say. if you are looking for any SOP of the function then this is correct but usually using a Kmap implies we want the minimum SOP (aka in simplest form) in which case the correct answer is y = BC' + AB + A'B'D + A'B'C since you can group m4 m5 m12 and m13 together to make a 2 by 2 box. this would give the value of BC'(instead of the grouping of m4 and m5 that gave the redundant term CD'A') which gives a more simplified resultant function. otherwise the other steps are correct!
So as long as you bubble the terms in the most efficient way possible the answer will be correct? As in, this method shown here will yield the minimal SOP if there is a minimal amount of grouped terms?
