Could you do a video on pricing too? Like from when you order the product, including shipping costs, to then figuring out a price to sell the item including your own postage costs, and around the percentage profit you should look to make on selling 25pcs for example

I have things from Alibaba, they are cheap. But don't expect your items to be with you in a week, as I bought some garage handheld push buttons for the electric door. They have just turned up yesterday, from me placing the order on the 19 -10 - 2021. Imported from Hong Kong, also make sure you know what you are buying as lots of it are chana junk. I won't be buying from them again anytime soon.

Hey, with my ebay store, i charge higher prices than most of my competitors on ebay for the same product... i can do this because i ship faster than most other sellers, and i have branded my store/company around the product (so i look like a specialist seller) hope that helps

Also, l would to ask something: l understand that l should have a connection with the supplier but sometimes startup capital might limit from ordering and testing the their products. How do l go about it? Would it be fine if l just tell them l will be dropshipping your products and ask them to ship them swiftly if l receive an order from my customers? I have a quick question since I am a newbie: so if the supplier replies with the cost and that it accepts paypal. So you just login to your paypal and transfer that money to his paypal email address or he sends you some kind of link to do do? Thank you Sam.

When I first start selling a product like this, I do not grand it in anyway. I will just ask the supplier what type of packaging does the headset come in. And if it is a neutral type of packaging with no Chinese writing on it. I will use that packaging

The only time I brand packaging for a product, as once I become the top seller. And it is a product that I know I’ll be able to sell for the next year or two years.

For example if i paid £150 for a 100 headphones with £50 shipping would I have to pay 20% tax of the total amount (£200)inc-shipping =£40?

Yeah you will need to pay import tax at 20% of the total amount you pay for the goods (excluding shipping costs) but speak to your supplier because some suppliers are able to include import tax in the final price. Hope that helps

Hi Sam, Using this example of Bluetooth headphones. Do you have a quick way of filtering out suppliers who are Bluetooth SIG, CE, ROHS and REACH certified? I find it very difficult to find them, especially Bluetooth SIG certified suppliers 🤷🏼

You dont need a VAT number at all to import goods from china, you can be a sole trader (without a vat number) and import from china

It depends on the cost of the item.. cheap items under 10$ each i may get 10 samples... if all is okay i will order 30pcs.. if they sell fast i get 50pcs and so on....

Always contact the supplier and tell them the amount you want... i always start with 30-40pcs and slowly increase the amount from there
