This is because of change of subject formula. We are looking to find the value of θ and not cos θ. So to get rid of the cos on the left hand, we multiply both sides by the inverse of cos (cos₋₁). The cos on the left hand will be cancelled out by the cos inverse and then we are left with θ = cos₋₁(everything on the right side). Hope I've been able to help
hello what if the vectors are like a= 3i + 2j b= i + 5k (examples made up in my head) if i will find a dot b will it be (3×1)+(2×0)+(0×5) or (3×1)+2+5 ???
