I’m too sure but I think I came across a video that mentioned that most times, the hissing noise could be normal for most Vauxhalls.

Mine is 2010. Just a few suggestions; try to set your car’s FM channel to the same as that of the Bluetooth adapter. Kindly let me know how it goes mate..🙏🏽

It uses the FM as Bluetooth, I guess. The moment the car’s radio is set to an unused frequency, you’re good to go.
