Correct me if I'm wrong, assertExists function would be a check if the storage has a value and asserts in general are good of value dumps of objects at the time of any failure in the application. So for this issue just adding the storage.token value with the storage (essentially checking both of them for an assert instead of just the token) should have solved the issue? Writing the whole thing from scratch makes sense in terms of simplification if someone is not familiar with asserts but I think assert is more useful for the future in terms of modification and debugging Great video tho!
