Thank you so much! You described my room almost exactly except I don’t have the far left window. My room is long and kinda narrow. A pain to position furniture in. I’m going to try it your way. 🙂
Thank You!!!! My bedroom is very much like your last illustration and that is the only place to put the bed. I often wake up after adequate hours of sleep feeling tired. I will try a patterned area rug and a crystal🤞
Thanks so much for this information. My bed is placed on the same wall as the door, and I have no other option. I've been searching through RU-vid videos. you are the first one to give a practical remedy. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate you:)
hey, in the example you showed in the video, if I put my bed in the best position you said, where should i put my study table/desk? there seems to be no room for it. Thanks
For what it´s worth my bedroom layout was changed once our daughter was born nearly two years ago and I have litteraly been sleepless since. According to this video my bed placement is about as bad as it can be. My wife and I will attempt to correct that. Thans for this video
I just moved to a new place and I'm finding it really difficult to place my bed. The room is a bit more rectangular and it's just one window which is directly opposite the door. Something similar to what you drew but the door is a bit more centered than your drawn example.
Hi, my bedroom has a window on the right corner, it's on the left side of the window in your example. So, is it still OK to have the bed in the command position ? Thank you,
My bed is in the ideal command position but half of the bed is against a solid wall and then the other half is against half of the French doors that open up to the balcony. I do have space like in the alternative position under a window but I would need to place a curtain. What would you recommend? Keep my bed where it is or just move it under the window.
My bed is the last example! I wake up so tired and with pains all over! I'll try moving it. I heard that the head of the bed shouldn't be at the north side.
my room is small and my window is across my door, but i cant put my bed on the wall to the right of the window because my closet takes up the whole wall. my room layout is stressing me out and i often find myself overwhelmed. i cant put my bed on the wall next to my door because then i wouldnt have space to look for clothes in my closet, what do you recommend ?
Hi! Thanks for your video regarding the location of the bed, is it possible to place the bed in the west side as what you have shown in the 2nd picture? Thanks...
I sleep very well despite having my bed on the same line of the door, I have two cupboards with marble on top a side of my bed with books and pictures..the choice was looking outside to apartments or trees, I have chosen for trees..
Hello. Can you give me some advice to keep the chi at my son's room. Room has a huge closed with sliding mirror doors, a wall with a window where the other side are 2 ac units, another small wall on the other side is the bathroom and finally the main entrance is where the hall is. I can not find the way to accommodate everything.
What is the option, if right hand side window is not available and door opens at center of wall. In this situation where I put window on opposite wall ??
what if the window above the bed is blocked from the outside? it still opens but it goes to a box basically . also you drew my room but with the extra window you pointed out.
What if your bed is in the correct command position but then the bed is placed in a wrong north position. There is no other way to reposition the bed in any place of the room. Are there remedies for this?
In the 3rd scenario where the bed is placed on the opposite side of the command position and assume there’s another additional window overlooking on the other side, will that be ok?
I have a question. I am rearranging my bedroom and there is an unused door that leads into another room. I put my headboard right on the door and placed my bed there. I have 2 exit doors that I can view directly as well as the washroom door. No windows. Do I need to change the placement of bed? Would greatly appreciate if you can reply.
It's not ideal, but give it a try. Hopefully you have a strong headboard. Notice how you sleep, how you feel when you wake up. Change it up again if it doesn't feel good.
My bed is the way of your last picture but on the side there is an entrance to my closet which is walk in, so my closet is behind my head board. Is that good or should I do something.?? I dont sleep well and have no idea if that is the reason. I am working on attracting love and realized that I have two beautiful paintings of ladies that are alone and they look lonely. I am working on looking for paintings that have maybe a couple or maybe love birds of that sort.........Thanks.........MINDY
It s amazing how you draw the exact design of my bedroom. I put the bed in the first ideal position you pointed, but I dont like it from the outside because i can see the bed from the living room and i dont keep shutting the door so i actually thought of the last bad idea but it s not comfortable from the inside😂 i guess we cant have it both ways
This video made sense I been struggling with my own bed placement and as far as she explained it I got it right my bed is diangle to the entrance and its in front of my solid wall. Guess my chee is on point 👌 thx

I don’t know but my bedroom is not easy to place my bed, I placed my bed under the window I also have a good headboard and I also have a blind cover the windows, I also have a door goes to the bathroom too, it’s cut half of the bed. I want to put my bed by the door but on the other side of the wall it’s a bathroom but it’s not directly to the toilet but the twos sinks are there. What can I do ? I put a crystal over the door and I kept the bathroom door closed all the time, but I still have problems such sinuses and asthma so what can I do to cure that?
Hi Shoua - I'm unable to comment without seeing the space and learning more. Here's a link to my calendar if you want to chat about ways to get more support: fengshuipathways.as.me/chat
See I have 2 windows a 50 inch TV and have to stay away from windows because I live in Oklahoma so theres alot of tornado's and thunderstorms so I have my bed in a corner but i wanna rearrange my room just a little diffucult
It would be great to get an reaction Feng Shui Pathways. We have a room as in your example with the 2 doors (entrance first and the other door = bathroom) as seen here in your first at the left(luckily not a third door in the second window) . And the one window above (of your paper) is also the case for us. But we live in the tropic area and at night we really need all wind we can get, so our bed is placed next to the entrance-door and at the opposite of the window -> it's heavenly to catch all the wind-rolls... but it seems for Feng Shui not correct. How can we solve that problem? BTW the middle of the room is also a point above the bed.
Hi Vicky - It's difficult to answer with confidence without seeing the space but it sounds like you'd be uncomfortable in another position. I'd consider a strong headboard, some sheer curtains and a crystal in the window to help keep your personal chi from draining out.
Hi Feng Shui Pathways, just one day ago I've found you and asked you a question and already I have an answer. Never expected this for sure. Thank you so very much for this. Indeed, we thought for other directions and tried out the best Feng Shui place but ... no wind at all and it became very hot in the room. So we moved again to the opposite wall of the window, sadly next to the door of the entrance. 1_Curtains we can't place as we are holding everything open to get every bit of wind and with curtains we lose this precious wind as we need wind as for our health we try to avoid airco's. 2_Please, what do you mean by a strong headboard as we already have a bed just a matras on a board and 6 legs... no board as wood for making a head is almost not to get here in the tropic area of the Caraïben. Do you have a tip please? 3_ Crystals, just a glass crystals in the window !!!? On small or one big one I have to look for? 4_ Do I have to place a crystal above the bed ... in the middle of the room? 5_Can we do something at the door/entrance? 6_Can we do something at the door of the bathroom ... hubby wants it always open as it gives a relieving by extra wind from this direction toOoooo. Thank you.
In one day I found you and also get an answer from you. Thank you so much. We tried the better Feng Shui-wall (someone talked about Feng Shui once) but it became to hot as we didn't had wind, so we moved again to the opposite wall of the window (always open). We don't have curtains as we let in the precious wind in. If we would place curtains we block the wind ... again. But we can do place a crystal in the window for sure. Is there something we can do at the door to enter the room/entrance? Is there something we can do at the door of the bathroom as my hubby want that door always open ... for extra wind and feeling of space. Is there something we can do in the middle of the room, above the bed instead of a light? Is this a good idea of a sturdy head the bed? mounting to the wall at the head of the bed .... to avoid space for pests they can hide? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lsk_MJZXMC0.html
Reyn Lezam, I like using a 1-2” clear, round, faceted crystal. It’s already got a clear, nylon string (like fishing line) attached for hanging. I bought several from a new age book store that sells crystals near where I live. I love to hang one in each window so that when the sun shines through, especially in the morning, it fills the room with rainbows and good energy! Round ones work the best! I paid $10-$20 each, depending on the size.
Gabex ! It’s superstitious thing...Something a lot of Chinese ppl believe in of good bad energy flow when it comes to your health..for example you don’t want your bed to be on the west side of the bedroom which mean your headboard pointing to the west.. it’s not a good energy.. a lot of bad dreams, sleepless ect....any directions but west. Look up feng chui
Chi (also Qi) is unseen energies that are flowing around you. It's what animates life - make the trees grow, wind blow, etc. It's in and around all of us)
