Note:
(1) When we identified the bases of prisms the "height" could have been seen by our conventional idea of height (bottom-to-top vertical fashion). In light of this, some students wonder why the video shows the horizontal lines as the height of the prism. It's important to note, however, that if you flip the prism so that it is standing with its base shape facing the floor, then that same horizontal line that our video claimed to be the height would indeed be the vertical height. Thus, the height can be seen as the side-length from one base area to another.
(2) In a rectangular prism, any two opposite sides can be seen as the base areas. Just choose a set of them and work out the rest of the question that you might be in the middle of solving!

Our teacher is not the best at explaining things so I was pretty much dead. Honestly, I'm glad there's teachers like this channel who actually explain things in detail and add some animation in to make it more understanding.

There's actually a difference between volume and capacity. Capacity is the maximum amount of space that an object can hold. Volume however is the measure of how much space is occupied inside of an object.
