This is going to help many new YT channel viewers. I know about these features because I’m a YT addict following a variety of topics from skincare to live streams of trials to book reviews and documentaries and am fairly tech-savvy for an old broad. One thing I think you’ll like knowing that at least for me, and perhaps this is because I have YT Premium-but when I scroll through my YT app on my iPad in the “subscription” tab, I always get prompted that there’s a “Community” post from whomever I’m following if they have one. So I, myself, always see yours.

Thank you! I get community posts and polls on my feed but when I posted a poll almost no one responded. I was puzzled. Most of my subscribers never saw it! I wrongly assumed it would be in my subscriber’s subscriptions page but nope. I like the community pages. They are more personal and well, feel more like a community! My sympathy on your tech issues this week. Making videos takes so much time and energy and when something goes south it’s so frustrating!

Oh my gosh...just catching up on comments! I hear ya on corrections with captions...I actually wish we could add captions even AFTER upload...I would def use that feature. I'm with you. I didn't know about that Transcription. I also don't `know where that YOuTube store is, and what copyright stuff will get you in trouble. There's so much to learn. I'm so happy you've been doing it for 4 years and are still learning. Let's see this week? The furnace motor went out, a pipe from our water heater sprang a leak. Water all over the floor of a bathroom, 3 buckets in the kitchen and the wifi went out. So belivee me I understand.

Tamara I recall once you did makeup on an elderly relative. I am 78 years old. I would like to know what skin care regimen would be recommended for women my age now that our skin is drier and more fragile. I know that at my age I am not the target audience for you tubers but there are still many my age who are interested in maintaining their skin.

I do have an entire skin care play list with tons of videos. But in terms of basics, a good gentle effective cleanser, moisturizer and daily SPF. Find an SPF that you love. One you look forward to wearing. One that you actually wear every single day. Then add in actives slowly... one at a time, rather than buying a whole bunch of actives at a time. This is important to be able to determine the effect of each active and to make sure your skin doesn't freak out with too much too fast. Do a little gentle exfoliation....I suggest starting with a gentle lactic acid or glycolic acid serum or toner. My first exfoliating toner was Pixi Glow Tonic. I started a couple of times a week and built up to daily.(do a patch test). I also like The Ordinary Lactic Acid Serum. Or perhaps an AHA or Pumkin Enzyme Mask once or twice a week. Over time, the exfoliation will give your skin a glow and help prepare you skin for other actives. At some point think about adding an antioxidant serum such as vitamin C in the morning....then think about a retinoid in the evening. But again, add these actives in slowly one at a time. I am including two starter skin care videos here but do also check out my Skin Care Play list. @Kimmy-rh1ry I used to use a tablet and the community tab was not available. I've also heard that it's not visible if you watch youtube on your television. I only use a computer now and the community tab is there.
