How to Finish Drywall Joints Easier using Tapepro's Shorty Flat Box Mini Handle

In this video we sand the internals and get ready to second coat all the drywall joints on the wall using Tapepro's "Shorty" Flat Box Handle on the Tapepro 8 Inch Flat Box. Using the Tapepro Shorty handle is quick and easy not just in tight spaces but also has good control advantages including being able to use the second hand to help squeeze out the perfect amount to alleviate the amount of effort you need to push the box along the wall.
Not sure if they have them in America. Maybe someone in the comments can let me know if they have used one.

Been watching a lot of your videos. Very enjoyable. There's something about plastering that is sort of Zen. A tragedy once befell a friend of mine's daughter and I was so bothered by it that I had to take a day off from work. The next day I didn't want to work either but I was plastering a ceiling and as soon as I put that trowel to the ceiling and began to get peace. It's a funny thing. I've never used the box or a bazooka or even a banjo but I think that looks pretty fun the way you guys do it. I do just about everything so I don't plaster every day or I don't mud and tape everyday so I just do it with the hawk and trowel. I'm too old to keep up with you guys but I think when I was young I would have enjoyed that. Rock on dudes, from an old geezer in South Florida USA! Subscribed.

As a skilled taper a couple comments from a guy who knows taping. Your work is super neat and tidey. I have the tape tech wizard handle which is similar and i can rip around with it. My only criticism would be wiping behind the box. Cleaning up your corners, yes. I get it is a small job and you have your fancy wiping knife. But do you always do that? Is the wiper on a pole for ceilings? I have the corner sander and its great for rough sand. I like the leaf blower. Good vid.

@@Maxkil if you run the box twice the trowel bar will wipe it out and smooth out any pocks. I never wipe after the box unless it has a hard edge. I just tuck the corners.

Yeah mate in Australia we use stud adhesive on every stud except internals , external corners and butt joints. Some people still screw the centre of the sheet to hold it back till the glue goes off. Ceilings are a little different but same sort of concept. The glue is stronger than the screws if you’ve ever tried to take a sheet off that’s been glued you will know what I mean.

I'm sorry, but I should've been more specific with my question. Why are there no drywall fasteners ? Is it strictly glued to the framing ? And, is this just for demonstration purposes because there are no outlets or switches. ? Regardless, nice clean work.

Sands in 5 seconds. But how much do you actually care about the next guy. What about when the painter shows up. How much sanding is left. I do plenty of jobs that are "ready to go". But when we show up the job isn't done. Estimates don't include us sanding again stuff that is "sanded and ready for paint". Looks good though
