Thanks as always Mondo for your knowledge and help! Would love to see some music theory in terms of your chord progressions and scales used in your tracks!
Hey Mondo, I don’t know if you remember, but we once had some conversations on a video of yours more than a year ago. Since then your channel and the quality has grown so much!! Same for me as a LoFi producer. I’ve never entered one of your giveaways before, but I’ve been experimenting with a lot of organic sound recordings lately, so this plugin would really be a blessing for me. Well, thank you anyway for what you are doing for us and the community and please never stop expanding your collection. Your style is quite unique and I always know when a track was made by you. Have a nice day and once again, thank you for everything!!
Always so nice, man. Constantly inspiring. I'd love to know more about how you decide what kind of 'ear candy' to use. When those vocal, drone-like pads make sense, when a simple melody in the background makes sense, things like that. Thanks for everything you already do. ❤️
every second of this video is gold... it really is a very friendly formula to finish songs... when you feel lost, come back to this video. It's like a saved starting point stage in video games. Mr. mondoloops, I saw below in your comments 6 months ago that you would do the same thing... but in fl studio... what happened? .. with that video you will go viral, I assure you.
all of ur vids have been so helpful for me lately, I’ve been trying to get stuff finished so this is my 2nd watch to remind myself of some things 😂 i need a better memory tbh
Just getting into lofi and your videos are immensely helpful. I have plenty of pieces of songs and will definitely reference these tips to finish some.
Ok these tips are fire, even the sparrows were cheering you up. More seriously, I sometimes have problems with structures, and reference tracks works in any style so very accurate tip here ! Now lets talk of the real struggle, and this one is scary and can take me a lot of times... The transition to "dd-mm-yy - Key of the track - Tempo - Main Idea of the track " to " Nice name for that track ". Giving a beat a name is my nemesis, any idea ? Most of the time I name my beats randomly ( and yes, i already use a randomiser on the web ) As always, thanks for sharing, top quality chanel here. Cheers
Great video, as usual👏❤️. Really interesting order on the mixing steps as well🤔I usually do the progression, then drums, then melody, then a (lofi-ish)bass, and atmosphere last. Might try this out next time
F - Sitting on an unfinished track at the moment which I'm stuck on, and taking notes while watching this video. Though I use FL Studio, this (and your other videos) is really helpful. Also fun to recognise this track as Luthien's Song from your album 😊Thanks for this!
Super helpful video! This is what I get stuck on when thinking about releasing music. I’m happy with what I have but want it to sound good on every listening medium. This helped a lot!
This is actually a great video. Because just like writing music or even writing lyrics can be very hard to figure out how to end a verse or a piece correctly.
hey!! can i know the name of this snare you ues in this video ? 2.15 is the one , i want to buy that sample pack if you can tell me where i can get it ! thx!!!
@@MondoLoops thanks a lot for the info!!and can you tell me if i buy that organic pack you just posted 2days ago , does it have that kind of snare involed too? cuz i have just now paied for that pack , it sounds really good on soundcloud
Antonio, I love your videos and watch them all the time. I know you mentioned that coming up with that initial idea is a lot of the time the hardest part, I feel like this is what I struggle with most, and the initial ideas that I do come up with mostly are objectively bad. Could you do a video on your initial idea generation or even just an uncut video of you trying to figure out a cool initial idea? I find your loops are super interesting and really emotive and I would love to get some more insight in to how I might emulate that.
You sound a lot like me lol you're probably just too critical on yourself when conceptualizing an initial idea. Going to take a shot in the dark and guess you listen to a lot of cerebral or technically driven music and it probably sets a high standard for yourself.
