great video...just did my sons 2023 390 duke . those bolts that hold the skid plate...especially the ones near the front....were not fun to put back in..be extremely that you don't cross thread !...
I noticed that too. If you start all the skid plate bolts and then tighten them down it’s easier. That’s because if you put all the bolts in on one side and tighten them down, the holes on the opposite side might not be aligned properly. Thanks for the comment. Enjoy the Duke!
I am about to do my first oil change on my 2023 ktm duke. How do you like yours, I’ve heard stories about these bikes overheating. My initial thought was I wanted to keep this bike since it’s an overall enjoyable bike and my kids could use it to learn on in the future but if the stories are true I’ll probably just trade it in before owning it for too long
I feel like we are in the exact same mindset. I taught my kids on Honda Groms and those skills easily transferred to the Duke. I got mine new at a good price but, like you, I don’t plan to keep it long. If it were a Honda or any other Jap bike I would feel more confident keeping it long term. It is a fun and powerful bike for what it is though! Thanks for the comment.
