I got one of those telescoping poles that am considering bringing, but I was worried it would be too flimsy. However it looks like it did great for you out there! Thanks for sharing your experience🌴

For simple shore fishing it worked just fine, I’ve even caught salmon on them.

Shrimp flavor is what we used most of the time. I tried a few flavors but found they didn't make a big difference. Good luck and hope you have a great time!

I did, just a small tackle box, and I took it out of my bag going through tsa and didn’t have any problems at all.

Take a variety but focus on smaller than you think you’ll need. A lot of the fish have mouths the size of bluegills.

This is north shore but would apply just about anywhere on the islands.

Many dangerous fish to handle. Not like mainland & many are stung or cut & ruin vacation in an ER.Use caution out here please. Bright colors can be a warning.
