Fishing in the weed often confuses many anglers. Identifying spots on weedy venues can often be the difference between catching or not. Mate, your observation on the fish feeding on the spot within the spot, bang on. Literally just watched an underwater, and they were scratching heads, why the fish were feeding of the edges of the spot. Top tip

Any with the lead dropping off. Heli, in-line drop off in a Pva bag. Lead clip with no tail rubber on, Pva tape the lead on first

Can you offer any advice on presenting baits in what looks like eel grass. That's if this forms thick top to bottom growth.

if you can find some clear areas great, try to present in them. if it is all solid with eel grass but reasonably spars try a large solid bag in amongst it

@@AvidCarpFishingTV tried pva bags little better but still bringing back weedcon the hook on retrieving.Dont know if i have identified it correctly it grows almost like grass on a lawn. I can send you a picture if you can send me a link. Fish present in it all day near the surface. Welfare of the fish is a priority. Many thanks for your reply.
