These look like they’d be very productive lures through most of the season. That pull-pause retrieve could be great all-around and in warmer water you could just do a fast straight retrieve like a bucktail or crank to cover water and find fish. Pete, my rod is a St. Croix medium-heavy, rated up to 3 ounces. Which means I can throw either the 6.5” or 8” size versions, but which one do you think is best for big pike and musky? I’m leaning towards the 6.5”, is the 8” worth getting for times like late summer and fall when bigger stuff is often better, or is the 6.5” enough for most situations?
