Des Shipp reveals some great spring time tips for fishing with expander pellets. Des uses the Sonubaits Pro Expander Pellets at Woodlands View Fishery to demonstrate how you can catch more fish and win more matches this year!
Nice one Des ... Your right about very cold water, the guys that say the pellets turn to mush must use water straight out of the tap. I always use my pond water that's been in the fridge for hours .... 👍
I used to use expanders years ago but went off them because back then you couldn't use them for anything but the pole. From what I remember they were Steve ringer expanders.. There was absolutely no way you could of cast with them. I'm due a trip to my local shop.. I will defo be having a look for these, thank you
Hi Des, please what flavors to use for very warm water in the summer on expander pellets? what is your tip? Thank you very much) briliant video, Martin
Is it just the preparation that you need freezing cold water for. I was just thinking that especially in the summer that the water you are keeping your pellets in would definitely warm up, even become very hot during the day. Would this affect the pellets in any way?
lovely video ive just got into pole fishing my biggest question is the float to shot weight so (exp) if i use at 4x12 float its says on the graph its uses 5x no 10s but when use them like how its say the float bristle and some of the body is out of the water. so what i do is then add a few more shots to make just the bristle show but then what is the point in having a graph thats saying 5x no 10 shots if it dosent work and other videos am i missing something here or am i just thick.
Great vid again Des. Do you drain the water off of the pellets after 2 hours. Will they go ‘too soggy’ to hook if you leave them any longer in the water
There is no problem at all using the Pro Expanders on consecutive days. However, freezing the pellet and then unfreezing could cause the pellet to split as the water content within the pellet will expand further when freezing.
@@hishaamadam1460 I have been on the Internet since 1991 and I know that there are all kinds of people who just love to show off their ignorance to the world. I also know that the language between England and this side of 'the pond' (Meaning the Ocean for that iggy iggy guy) in America is different. I consider the source!
Keeping them underwater stops them from drying out. You can drain some of the water off if you prefer, but make sure all of the pellets are kept wet. They won't turn to mush over one day.
3 adverts in ten mins of viewing youtube is taking the piss - this is affecting your product placement and the info you put accross and it has ruined my enjoyment of it - stopped me watching the video at 10:40 out of 23:56. not your fault but the fault of youtubes avarice
Very annoying! We request nothing but pre and post video ads to be shown from RU-vid and always skippable so possibly because it's an older video it could have slipped through the net. We'll take a look!
@@Sonubaits that's what I thought - ok so it's an "advomercial" (have I just made that word up?) but still enjoyable to watch with useful info - youtube are pushing it everywhere and are going to lose business thru it - that affects your buisness ... Still I get to moan and gripe so I get to release endorphins - I'm happy now which is plus lol ...
