It's also very nice to fit a 2 DIN Radio (I did buy a cheap Android from Aliexpress) and you have a full screen navigation /w GPS, Radio, DAB+, backup-camera and you can even add TPMS if you want. Makes your MR2 look more recent.

I was same. Without a on the spot hands on teacher it’s tough unless your a natural tinkerer. First thing to learn is how to change your oil. You can choose better oil, change it more often (I’m at 3k but considering 2k cause oil is cheap!!), and Save Money all the while. When my dealership got up to 500 bucks for oil change I drew the line.
